Was looking for video game soft ware and hardware, both a bit or quite expensive, bought only one game, XBOX 360 for 10$

They are not friendly, if incase u get into financial trouble, they take advantage of you and offer deals that is way below what you would expect.

Spoke to Michael to let him know I would be in before 6 to do a loan in which he said "that's fine as long as isn't after 6" so ran from St. Vincents hospital to get there at 5: 57 To find doors locked. Called store for home to tell me a blatant lie that he closed the door at 6. There was another gentleman outside as well.

Wouldn't open door saying I'm not inside before 6 and had the worst attitude. If he said he could not do it from the beginning I would have accepted that but not to run down there for him to be smug

Wow.guys if I wanted to buy at near RRP prices for video games and goods I would buy new and get the warranty that comes with it.i feel like you guys have lost touch in your prices

I had a 90 day warranty on the controller I purchased which was faulty, I brought it back the next time I was in the city (2 weeks later) and was told that I needed to call them up the next day if I wanted to return it (assuming I knew right away that it was faulty once I got home), why even have a 90 day warranty if you're not going to honour it?

I bought a computer from these scumbags almost a year ago with certified windows 10 installed. Sure enough as soon as the warranty runs out the Operating System is having all sorts of problems, won't do security or even run chrome so not even the internet works. I call these idiots up on the phone as I am an Audio Professional and rely on these systems for work. Not only do they refuse to help, and then they tell me that if I am a professional in sound engineering why am I not using an iMac? How rude. Suffice to say I most certainly will not be recommending these racist criminals to any of my friends

Every time I've bought an electronic device from here it stops working just after the warranty runs out.yeah not cool.

Was a bit worried about visiting her after reading reviews. But i was happily suprised. They have friendly service and was quite fast when i went in. Prices offered on loans are not wonderful but thats the nature of the system.

Do not go anywhere near this place. Buys and loans will actively try to rip you off and having had items in on loans at other Cash Converters stores (Greensborough, Camberwell), I can honestly say that the Elizabeth St stores will offer you the absolute worst rate.

The staff try to ram through cash loans and if they say they will take the money out on X date, be sure to have the money in there a few days earlier, because they have no problem will misleading you.

The female supervisor in the buys and loans area is arrogant, rude, misleading and just a exceptionally poor example of "customer service".

Prices on the items in store are also generally higher it appears than in other stores

TL;DR: Even for Cash Converters, the store is the bottom of the barrel. Every aspect is poorly delivered. Avoid at all costs.

I got lucky on my first cash advance loan here. It was quick & easy, paid it back on time but since then I went back twice for the same cash advance & they refused me both times. It's disappointing that l tried to be loyal to one Cash Converters store but they seem happy to push customers out the door refusing my custom so l went to Moonee Ponds store instead & so far no problems there.
Don't take bs from anyone & don't be afraid to take your business elsewhere people. There are actually businesses looking for customers, just this one isn't clearly.

The representative on the telephone was so rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. The staff treat the customers as if customers have borrowed the money from staff. They should know that customers are paying highest interest and extra charges to the company for the service. The business should learn how to treat to the customers. There is a massive room for improvement especially in the customer service.

I went to here to see if I could sell a digital camera, but sadly they weren't able to. However, the lady serving me was polite and patient and also seemed very knowledgeable about what I was trying to sell, and instead suggested that I could take out a loan.
Went through the process and was successfully able to get a small but affordable loan without any major hassle.

Went in to get a cheque cashed. Knew I was getting robbed but wanted the convenience. The "finance" lady was very smug and rude. I will not be using this service again.

Only go there to buy DVDS. Never had any problems with staff. They've always been really nice and very helpful. Have found DVDS there for $2-$3 that are still at JB HiFi for $15-$20.

These people are definitely criminals, trying to buy stuff for nothing, on top of that unfriendly staff, and then overprizing everything, if you have time to sell your stuff use gumtree don't support those b******.

Went to this store today and waited for nearly 1hour for them to hour and still not there was no note about them opening late at all this was a joke one of the worst store
