Very happy. I live in Sydney and purchased prescription specs over the phone, because they were the only ones who had the frames I wanted. I used a script from my local optometrist. Adam was exceptionally professional. Everything was organised in an expeditious fashion and my specs couriered to me. Prescription was perfect and frames far better than I expected.

Great service, great range, including interesting frames you won’t find elsewhere. Love popping in to see what’s new before a film at the nova. Time for a pair of multi focal sunnies!

I discovered Carlton Eyelab about 3 years ago while visiting Melbourne from Brisbane. I was thrilled to find frames that I hadn’t seen anywhere else. I received fantastic advice regarding frames to suit my face from an assistant in the store. I later discovered that she is the owner, Michelle.
Michelle definitely has an “eye” for what will suit you.she was amazing.and so much so that I have recently made a point of taking my husband to Melbourne so that he could have the pleasure of choosing some funky new frames.
We had a fun time going through the many choices.both us though, ending up with Michelle’s first offerings to each of us. As I said, she has an “eye” for what will suit.
During this last visit, we both had our eyes checked by Claire.she was very thorough.
The exceptional service we received included having our new glasses sent to us in Brisbane by overnight courier.this happened for me on my previous purchase.and we are already receiving compliments on our new eyewear!
If you are looking for something a little different to the run of the mill you find everywhere else, make sure you get to this store.the service and choices are outstanding.we will be back!

I have been with Carlton Eyelab since they opened. Great service and knowledgeable staff. After 20 years of wearing glasses I now have contact lenses thanks to Sandra and could not be happier. I have sunglasses, computer glasses and find the follow up service fantastic. Adam and his 4 legged sidekick, Wade, are very friendly. I will be buying more new glasses soon. They have the coolest frames. Thanks Michelle for bringing a little bit of Milan to Carlton. My technically inept partner wants me to say ‘ditto’ for him.

I have just picked up my 5th pair of glasses over 4 years from Carlton Eyelab and couldn’t be happier. I currently have everyday specs, sunnies and computer glasses. I love their independent designer and often handmade frames. I’m regularly getting comments from strangers ‘great glasses’ or ‘cool glasses’. Like fabulous shoes. I always want more!

Sandra the optometrist is very skilled and professional. I feel very safe in her hands and her prescriptions for lenses have been spot on.

Adam and Michelle are just terrific and I always love their honest advice on what frames suit my face shape. During the life of my glasses, if I ever need a tweak to the fit, they are always happy to sort it when I pop in.

Dont bother. Glasses blury on peripheal. Returned but continued to have same issue on second pairs. Purchased computer, prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses. Money was refunded without question. What I found difficult was the owners son's rudeness. Refused to speak (only person in store) until his mother appeared. Passive aggressive rude. Eyelab blaming the purchaser but not checking for quality
of their work. No issues when I went elsewhere.

After several recommendations to this Optical shop, 4 years later am still happily attending. Michelle is brilliant at recommending glasses to suit and the Optometrist Sandra very professional and friendly manner and young man Adam a delight.
