The optometrists have always terrific in comparing previous year’s results - in simple layperson language. I really enjoy the fact that I’m given the 12monthly reminder given my age and eye condition. And I’d highly recommend them … and the great selection of frames is truly wonderful.

First rate experience at Carlton Eyelab.

I stopped by without an appointment. I was tired of my boring glasses, felt my eyesight had worsened and wanted a bit of a refresh. Michelle listened patiently to my ‘brief’, asked lots of pertinent questions and proposed a variety of frames. Before long, we had settled on a winner and a runner-up.

They were able to fit me in for my eye consultation the following day. Claire was extremely thorough and picked up a couple of things that hadn’t been detected in any prior consultations. The winner and the runner-up had been set aside, ready for me to try again and confirm my choice.

A week and a half later, I have my lovely new specs in hand. Very happy with the experience: knowledgeable, thorough and friendly team, wide range of frames from ‘understated but slightly different’ to ‘look at me! ’ Highly recommend. Thank you.

Hey, last Saturday I came in looking for some specs. I didn’t know what would suit my face shape or compliment me, but Holly gave me some amazing advice, her knowledge of the product range, designers really impressed me, she seemed so sincere and made me feel so comfortable, I haven’t purchased just yet but I’m coming back next week to get some glasses as I haven’t stopped thinking about it.

It’s been a while since I’ve had an optometrist I really liked and trusted. My case is a bit unique as I still use hard contact lenses—a bit of a dying breed when it comes to the skills optometrists need to fit you up and get them made. Most optometrists nowadays recommend I go soft lenses as it’s easier for them and more common. But Dr Claire didn’t try to sell me the easy option for their team, she assessed my situation and recommended the right option for me.

As a whole their team know their stuff, always give brilliant service and have fab style. Thanks team - glad to have found a place I really like and can trust.
