Carlton Brewhouse reviews
63Tour was very detailed and got to try different elements of beer and of course the end product. Our tour guide James was very passionate and knowledgeable about CUB and Beer as a whole. Would recommend highly!
As I love my beer, this tour was grouse! James the tour guide was funny and engaging. Would come back again just so I can see the operations working at full pace! Its unaustralian not too visit CUB!
Really good tour, James was eloquent, humorous and polite. Unfortunately the plant was not running on the day of our tour - try to go on a Monday/Tuesday to increase your chances of seeing the machines in action!
Biggest brewery in Australia! Interesting facts brought to us by James! He did a great job! The beer at the end was so bloody good and fresh! Do youself a favor!
I did the brewery tour and it was a great time. Very knowledgeable and entertaining with a great selection of beers to try at the end of the tour
Tour was very informative, James held my tour and he was a good guy. Very engaging and enthusiastic. The beer tastes so fresh on site, I would highly recommend it!
Delicious beers, big screen, good atmos, great space to have a few Carlton draughts (unpasteurised). Will be back.
Pru was a great guide, the food was amazing, especially from the menu, great place to watch the tennis and have beers and food. The wings are amazing. Staff awesome and couldn't be more helpful and friendly.
Went on a tour with some friends from work. Really interesting and fun. Had lunch after at the brew house and the food was also great! Definitely recommend.
Function venue, staff 10/10. Food below average. Entree cold should have least been warm if not hot, main was steak, normally for a large group you would cook medium, this was on the brink of blue to rare! Seasoning on top so spicy inedible. Group still taking bets as to what was served with steak? Roving deserts dissappointing. Dietary requirements both entree and main served incorrectly for a number of guests.
Bruna was an excellent tour guide. Learnt so much. Really enjoyed the tour. Highly recommended.
The Brewey Tour is amazing.
What a great tour.
Informative, entertaining and well worth the visit.
The beer tasting offers 11 different varieties to suit all taste buds
The tourist centre offers interactive touch screens detailing the full brewing process.
The cafe has a great range of simple snacks through to full traditional pub meals.
Even if you don't do the tour make sure you visit the tourist hub.
Top notch!
Great tour.
Welcomed by the very helpful and bubbly Dani.
Tour guide Prue was really good. Kept it interesting.
Booked a tour for Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately due to traffic accidents we were delayed by 15 minutes. We called ahead to let the staff know that we were running late and advised that we would caught up. Understandably, we missed the first part of the tour - however we did not appreciate being spoken down to by staff member Dani for being late.
The remainder of the tour was enjoyable but I don't think we'll come back again due to the rude and inconsiderate staff.
Had an amazing tour can't say enough about the staff specially the lovely young woman up at the desk she knew her job so well and was so polite and made myself and husband doo well come the tour it self was great and the young man knew so much he didn't prat on like some toured we have been on knew his job and got to the point with everything I will pass this into our family and friends xxxx
Whether you're into drinking beer or not, the tour is so interesting and informative. The staff are fantastic- so friendly, and having the tasting paddle made me think, "maybe I do like beer! " The food is great. Thanks to Steve for letting us get behind the bar for a fun dress-up photo. Highly recommend the experience.
Came for a brewery tour and lunch with a gift voucher. Tour was good and a very knowledge tour host. Interesting to hear about and see the volume of beer made. Lunch was good, just a shame you cannot enjoy a drink with it if eating before the tour.
Due to heavy traffic arrived late, but had rang to inform staff we had been caught up. Informed by staff that would be ok. However upon arrival, treated poorly and when we were able to finally catch the remaining twenty minutes of the tour. The condescending comment from Dani about "Have you now learnt your lesson about being late" was not warranted nor appreciated. Good visit soured.
Gave a good insight into the brewing process here at the Carlton brewhouse and the tour guide was great. The beers afterwards topped it off.
Enjoyed the tour. Our guide Ros wasvery informative. Obviously you do it for the tastings! For a non beer drinker really liked the Great Northern supercrisp lager and the Wild Yak Pacific Ale.
