Carlton Brewhouse reviews
63Had a great time here today, did the full tour and beer tasting. Doug our tour guide was fantastic and we will definitely recommend to our friends:)
Tour was fantastic. Highly informative. Simon knee his stuff, and was very engaging! Would recommend.
Just having the Red Balloon experience at Carlton Brewhouse in Abbotsford. Great facility tiit with Doug/Dougie, a paddle of tasters fresh from the brewery, and to cap it all off, pub lunch.awesome CUB, loving it.
Really good tour. Learnt a lot about the process. They’ve nailed the goodness trio beer food and people
Simon was brilliant! Very engaging. Happy to answer questions. Very informative. 6/6 of us loved the experience and will be back to share our new expertise with friends. Highly recommend
Experienced the tour on 29/02/2020, Doug was an awesome tour guide. Great facilities to see our favourite beers being brewed in!
Simon the tour guide was fantastic, knew his stuff about beer brewing and the bottling process.
Enjoyable your, great for any beer enthusiast or even beer drinker.
Still great fun but one of the worst brewery experiences around. During the beer run this, the richest of all the brewery's provided the smallest beer size.
The home of beer, wish I could give a 10 star rating, what a place!
Big opportunity for the beer and cheese company nearby.
Need that cheese with the best cold beer, look out!
Fantastic experience, best of the 3 times I’ve been here for the info packed and enjoyable brewery tour hosted by Simon, kudos to Simon for being so concise and passionate about CUB. Thanks to Jodie for being a legend! Highly recommended.
The tour was very informative and interesting. You can learn about the brewery process and history with the humorous tour guide.
A nice experience to have unpasturised Carlton amongst some of Melbourne's unique history.
Came here from outer east for BURGERS and beer on a Cudo deal, very good value.
Burgers: I had the Blue - a 4/5 burger, a little too much greenery and could have used a pickle (d something) to cut through the cheese. Roasted capsicum was a master stroke and the burger as a whole was very good. My wife had the Garden burger - by all accounts, a unique spicy pea-based veggie party and all-round great veggie option.
A little loud with not much option to sit if you wanted a bit more quiet. Other than that a really great way to spend a dreary Melbourne Saturday arvo
Great tour, extremely knowledgeable and attentive to guests. Relaxing environment with a quality cold one. Would recommend.
Great tour, knowledgeable guide. Great food and quality fresh beer on tap. Thoroughly recommend if you're in Melbourne and looking for a good afternoon activity.
Great knowledge from the guide, also finally found out the myth behind crown lager.
It's a quick enough tour definitely worth a visit A +
A fun and informative tour! Great to see the beer production process and try the beers afterwards. Would highly recommend for any beer lover!
James was an excellent tour guide. Incredible knowledge of beer and the brewing process. Great to get an insight into how things work behind the scenes.
Interesting tour, unfortunately the plant wasn't running on the weekend.
James was amazing on the tour, very glad we were paired with him.
Great tour, very informative about the brewing process. Tour guide James has a great sense of humour and is very knowledgeable about the brewing. Beers also fast great!
