Capricho Grilled Chicken - Ballarat

Staff lied to me and refused to accept payment. Canceled order and left would not go there again.

Had griled chicken Definitely far better than nandos. Burger was awesome. Definitely recommend this place.

Taken over Nandos, but are doing a great job.
My daughter and I enjoyed our food and the lady behind the counter was lovely.
Great service, we'll be back!

The sauce in the chicken was just poured on cold which ruined the whole thing. Also the background music was inappropriate with lots of swearing.

We came here today to try the food and left very disappointed on many aspects:

- We asked for a jug of water and the lady said that they could not give us tap water because of covid and we would have to buy a bottle of water from the counter. We've been to multiple restaurants and they all give jugs of water to the customers. If we are using the restaurants dishes which they serve the food in and their cutlery, Isn't that spreading covid? !

- We ordered a capricho super bowl and it didn't match it's description, barely any onion or tomato, no dressing and the bowl was just basically full of salad leaves and quinoa.

- We also ordered the loaded nachos and it was mostly loaded of tortilla chips and very less filling, chesse and sauce.

We were forced to fill our stomachs with this bland food as we were starving
Not worth the money, please never go there.

I don’t recommend this place, wraps Bring one leaf of lettuce, one slide of tomato and litres of Mayonnaise. If you are busy please cancel, they can cover a order for 3 customers with the place empty and also they forgot the chips.

Amazing food & people, do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant if you are in Ballarat. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing, the grilled chicken I tried melted in my mouth. Absolutely the best meal I had while in Ballarat. Highly recommend Capricho. Well done kudos to kitchen staff Don & Chlo. You guys are smashing it!

What is so difficult about making a wrap? Don’t tell me there is tomato in the wrap when clearly there is not. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this place.

Don’t be fooled when they say they have a vegetarian option (shown as VGO on their menu). Tried the Ballarat store tonight and was told VGO meant I still pay full price but they remove the chicken - effectively serving up a wrap with lettuce, tomato and mayo. If I wanted them to remove the chicken and sub with a vegie patty it was $4.90 extra! We’ll stick to Schnitz …

Hola! Went for a meal here to enjoy the tastes of a favourite cuisine of mine and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
I had the 'Iniesta' burger with some spicy chips and it was delectable.

My wallet is more than likely scared at the prospect of me visiting the new establishment on a frequent basis, as this is my aforementioned favourite type of food to munch on.

I'm excited to try the 'paella' next time I'm in and I wouldn't be surprised if the staff would begin to know me on a first-name basis haha.

Clean premises and staff extremely friendly. Good price for what you pay. The chicken was well cooked and tasty. Sweet potato chips were delicious. Happy to return.

New Spanish chicken place in town. Had lunch. Staff very friendly. Food fantastic. The double chicken burger bread roll is magnificent. Capricho ticked all the boxes. Will be definitely eating again. Thank you!

Rocked up hoping to have nandos but they have gone.decided to try it anyway ordered chicken ribs with fries and drink 17.95. Instead they gave me Wings the sauce was just poured over them was not enjoyable at all. The only thing that was good was the chips. But won’t be coming back.

Food is really good, the staff are super sweet! Highly recommend. Definitely coming back again!
