Cannibal Creek excells in every area possible, the wine delightful, the food to die for and the staff sensationally accommodating. Such a gem of a venue, thank you so much for helping me celebrate my birthday?

I had a lunch for my baby shower at Cannibal Creek Winery last weekend and I couldn’t not leave a review. The service was outstanding, the waitress who looked after us was so attentive (I wish I could recall her name!) and made sure everyone had everything they needed. Food was delicious, and the portions were generous - great value for money. They accommodated various dietary requirements including myself and another pregnant friend. Everyone that came raved about the food. Thanks again for making it such a nice day.

First time coming here with my wife. Only received ‘decent’ customer service from one of the waiters when we were seated. The rest seemed to be acting ‘off’ and even started stuttering when explaining allergy requirement in dishes. Also noted in the initial booking that there is a ‘SEVERE NUT ALLERGY’ but was never brought up in our seating until we mentioned it when ordering.

Ratings are based on taste and presentation: Ordered: cheese board 10/10, sourdough 10/10, olives 7/10, pork belly 3/10 (crackle was so hard we couldn’t eat it or even cut it up, also only received one cutting knife even though it is a shared meal?) panna cotta 9/10, lemon tart 9/10.

Overall average dining experience. Mains are suppose to be the star of the show but wasn’t this time.

*REPLY TO OWNERS RESPONSE*
IM SURE IF YOU OR ONE OF YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS HAD A SEVERE ANAPHYLACTIC ALLERGY YOU WOULD FEEL CONCERNED/ UNEASY WHEN YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH AN UNCONFIDENT STAFF MEMBER REGARDING THE ALLERGY THAT WE ALSO HAD TO MENTION TWICE. Please educate yourself and your staff on how to make your guests feel more comfortable ESPECIALLY when their LIFE depends on it. Most ridiculous response i have had from a restaurant!

One of my favourite wineries in Victoria! Fantastic food, the wine is incredible. They also stock locally brewed gins and vodkas - well worth the trip.

We very much enjoyed our family lunch celebration at Cannibal Creek Restaurant. Even though we booked quite late they were very accommodating including for those with food intolerances. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All the food and the wine was really lovely. We will be going back.

Delicious food, great wines and fantastic staff. We had a party of 14 including two children in the zoned party space which was perfect for the occasion of a 70th Birthday celebration.

It's been 7 years since we last visited Cannibal Creek and there's been lots of improvements. The most important is the first class restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff and great food. We had a table with a pleasant view over the surrounding countryside, although not the vines. The server provided a small taste of the 2 wines we were going to have with lunch and only served the 2 full glasses after we were happy with the tasting. The menu is not large but still provides a good selection of small and medium size sharing plates. We enjoyed everything - oysters, arancini, flat head tails and pork belly. The wines with the meal were also very good - the Reserve Sav Blanc and Reserve Pinot Noir. After the meal we went downstairs to the tasting room where we had a very enjoyable tasting experience under David's guidance. We departed with our purchases of Reserve Sav Blanc, Chardonnay and Reserve Chardonnay. We had a great time and I am sure it won't be 7 years before we are back again.

Fabulous evening on the deck, admiring the bush setting. Great staff, attentive but discreet.

Looking forward to going there again.

Always a joy to have lunch here, the food was delicious and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. My co lunchers were a bit phased with the menu not being used to the tapas style, but all in all we had a very enjoyable time.

Cannibal Creek Winery is a hidden gem in West Gippsland. The location is quiet and serene, away from the hustle and bustle of the maddening crowds. You can dine inside, by the fire or out on the deck when the weather is right.

The meal is set for sharing. This was our fourth visit with the last two visits being eight days apart. Every time our meal is impeccable. It's fresh, flavoursome and leaves you wanting more. The menu is not large and overwhelming so choices are easy. My absolute favourites are the gnocchi and potatoes with rosemary salt. Their desserts are equally as delicious.

Being a winery they also have a fabulous range of wines to complement every dish. Their Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is definitely my favourite.

My husband has already suggested we return again next week so that he can have the pork belly that looked so good on my sister's plate. (She wouldn't share as it was too good.)

Thank you to the staff for always making us feel so welcome in your beautiful restaurant.
