Cannibal Creek Vineyard - Gippsland Winery

How have we not been here sooner? !
We had such a wonderful experience at the cellar door for a wine tasting. The lovely man serving is was so kind, fun & so knowledgeable (no pushiness in sight).
The wine was exactly as it had been described to us: subtle, light & delicious. So of course we left with 3 bottles (and some cheese) & we'll be signing up for more.
Next time, we're coming for lunch to enjoy the views for a little longer.

Finally visited after years of seeing the sign from the highway, and I wish I did sooner! Cannot fault the experience my partner and I had here for lunch on a Friday. Friendly helpful staff, great service. Food was absolutely delicious, the gnocchi was the best gnocchi I've ever tried! It was an incredible texture and flavour. Can't wait to come back

Great atmosphere, food and wine selections and quality is excellent. Staff are very helpful and the customer service is terrific. Fireplace inside keeps it warm and adds to the ambiance. There’s also some great tables outside for dining.

Stars were given for the service. Absolutely attentive and friendly. Food wise, could be better. Pork were dry and chewy skin (or maybe we happen to get the dry part).

Perfect service, the food is amazing and the wine too. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Worth the drive from the suburbs. Will be going back asap

Beautiful food and ambience - love to come here for special occasions. Great for a low-key birthday or a catch-up with a friend. The charcuterie and salmon gravlax are definitely favourites of mine!

Unfortunately, Greg, the owner, forgot to mention your comment of being pricey? He did excuse himself about the staffing level and experience. $38 for dishes and $24 for Arancini is crazy. There is no room to even try a glass of wine, and even that is steep. Half a glass at that.

There is some great locally produced food and beverages to be found at this venue. The hospitality staff were absolutely fantastic, very professional, courteous, and friendly. This vineyard is an excellent place to showcase what Gippsland has to offer to any visitors. It comes highly recommended!

Outstanding food, wine and service. If I could give 6 stars I would. Huge thanks to Isaac who provided some of the best service we have ever had. We will be back again regularly. The chefs here should be congratulated; the food was exquisite in every way and the produce was of the highest quality. The gnocchi is the best hand made gnocchi and melts in the mouth.

I got the pork belly with miso sauce, pickles and salad. Very rich and filling and has the crispy crackling too?

She got the duck with rhubarb, also rich!

We had a beautiful bottle of their reserve Pinot Noir
Absolutely delicious

We had a tasting of their two Chardonnay’s. The cheaper one is really good and the reserve has a little bit more oak and complexity but depending on your taste for white wine who knows which one is best. I like both styles

This is our favourite place for date night (or days). The food is wonderful, service fantastic and the Merlot divine. We can bring our doggo, sit outside and just enjoy the vibe.

Stunning food, variety of Wines and Wonderful Staffs. The Duck Confeti and Arancini was top Notch stuff. Most Recommended

Four of us ate lunch and enjoyed fantastic food. We ordered quite a few of the dishes and all of them were delicious. Definitely recommend.

Service was outstanding and wines were lovely. We paid for a set menu and advised a month ahead of dietary requirements yet there was no alternative main for vegetarians which was a shame. Food that we did have was great.

While the food was lovely the serves were extremely small and pricy
$6 for a small croquette and the same for an arancini ball.
The cheese board was tiny with only a few crackers. Would have liked bread with it.
Sorry but very over priced.

Everyone is so lovely, the food is Devine. Our waiter definitely made our experience worth while.

The food served was of good standard and local produce. Though may have been a bit understaffed to serve the large number of clients on the weekend, the service was yet very good, Issac and Maddie always had a smile!
The " Shop" display was interesting and tempting. Did purchase some of the Cannibal specialities and their Reserve Wine.
