Cann River Bakery reviews
57Medium tea was hot milky water, horrid and not consumed; avoid, waste of $3.80. Carrot cake was pleasant enough.
Sold out of most thing when I arrived, but it was alright. Had batter bakery experiences but it was ok.
Great coffee. Lactose free milk is available. Cafe only doing take away orders when we visited but we could sit in their outdoor tables
Great pie.
Had a beef and mushroom pie. Mushroom tasted fresh and the sauce was really good too. Beef was slowly cooked and tasty.
Stopped for coffee and pies. Friendly staff, good range of ready to go foods. Pies were very meaty and delicious.
Best pie I ever have in Australia?
Ordered a Steake and bacon pie and egg and bacon sandwich
Been driven past Cann River many times. It was First time stopped for quick lunch at thisbakery. We had egg bacon roll. Sooooo tasty and soft. It was one of best egg bacon roll I ever had. Will definitely back again for that next time.
Very friendly staff.
Thank you
Nice place. Good pies. Nice selection of drinks and there was a lovely selections of local honeys. Clean and friendly place to stop on our road trip.
Terrific Bakery that always has fresh baked goods for lunch, morning or afternoon tea. Fresh bread and local honey for sale. Can by busy at times asits popular. We always stop off fir a bit to eat and a fresh coffee.
Pie was fresh and tasty. Sandwiches were also fresh with standard amounts of fillings. Coffee was hot with an average blend.
Overall, a pleasant stop on the trip with good food and coffee.
YUM YUM YUMMY. Australia is famous for its pies? I like the servo pies when I'm just on a dead run of 800 miles, but when I got a chance to stop at where I was going, I like to pick the best pie shop in town and search for Australia's best pies.
When I ordered my dogs eye and dead horse (curry steak) with a coffee. I downed their pie in a tick. You could say, I inhaled it, abd the curry memory on my lips to this day.
I will always need my fix of Cann Rives pies every time I get back to Australia. Hopefully next year.
Very good pies and cakes. I had pepper steak and slice and excellent as usual.
Stopped for Ham and cheese.still great
Fantastic pies?
I got a pepper steak pie and it was so good I went back for another.
Got a mushroom pie and it was even better!
They were busy, but the service was fast and reasonably friendly.
There is a nice park across the road to eat too.
If I went through Cann River again, I'd definitely stop again.
The best ever Bacon and Egg Roll I’ve EVER had. Bacon cooked exactly how it should be and the egg still runny. Can’t wait to travel North again to have it
Not the best pie of your life, or city coffee, but a clean, tidy and friendly country rest-stop.
There was a guy (worker, or friend of someone connected to the cafe) there during my visit who seemed incapable of speaking to women in a way that wouldnt offend me, but even he seemed to mean well.
Great stop between Narooma and Lakes Entrance. Best sausage roll and amazing vanilla slice. Hot enjoyable coffee. Bought some Cann River honey can't wait to try it out.
Am currently circumnavigating Australia on a motorbike. Local bakeries are my go to for morning tea and coffee. Stopped here today, saw the bacon and egg roll with coffee for $10 and could resist. It was without a doubt the best I have ever had.ever! Freshly cooked, big egg, loads of bacon and added cheese. Do yourself a favour folks. This an absolute must. Filled and warmed me after a cold trip down the mountain. Friendly, warm service a bonus also. Well done folks, glad to see people and businesses like this still exist!
To everyone in Cann River, thanks and more thanks for being the best RV Stopover we have ever come across. Clearly posted parking signs for caravans and motorhomes.pleasure to be able to pull in and enjoy some morning. Well done again Cann River
Perfect place to stop. Lots of nearby parking, plenty of seating indoors and out. Pepper steak pie was the right amount of spicy, great pastry held together well. Sausage roll was flavoursome good combo of meat and veg. Pineapple cream was a delight sweet light creamy goodness. Staff were very friendly
