Entirely GF menu made it easy to find something yummy. We shared egg on toast and chicken avo sandwich. Everything was delicious. I'll come here again

Very good selection of gluten free sweets and bread.
My sister is coeliac and she was very happy with the bread.
We will definitely visit again soon, my sister is excited to try the breakfast menus!

My daughter and I travelled a long way to sample what Caffe Stada has to offer, and I can Tell you were were not disappointed! In fact, we were astounded at the exceptional quality, as gluten free food is particularly hard to nail. I ordered the fish and chips, and she ordered chicken, avo, pesto, tasty cheese on Turkish bread, followed by pancakes to share. WOW! The batter on the fish was light and crispy, the fish moist and succulent, with beautifully cooked chips and a lovely salad. The Turkish bread was
SENSATIONAL! A LIGHT crust on the outside, and soft and moist on the inside. The pancakes were exceptionally good! We bought 3 packs of Turkish bread and a loaf of bread to take home. Even 2 days later, the Turkish bread was still crispy and moist. Paul is the mastermind behind this gorgeous place. We will certainly be going back again.

Would be 5 stars, our favourite cafe. Except we recently came for lunch on a Tuesday (13/4) and they were inexplicably closed, and then on 15/4 my wife ordered the pulled pork which came out on half the normal sized roll for the same price. Worried about how this year will go as it’s been quite inconsistent post 2020.

Really fantastic gluten free cafe. I've been stocking the freezer with their bread for a while (it's easily the best gf bread I've tried, the rolls and quinoa loaf are exceptional) and finally made it to the cafe with my bub. We both had brunch and thoroughly enjoyed.

Food is beautiful, staff friendly and if you're a Coeliac you'll love this place. (I'm not, but food still awesome).

Caffe Strada is an amazing cafe as I have coeliac disease and are lactose intolerant. The staff are so lovely and helpful. Made me feel welcome to ask allergy ingredient issues. Thank you very much. Local to my daughters house.

Fantastic GF cafe! Ordered the Eggs Benedict with bacon - came exactly as ordered! Absolutely delicious! Also bought the cinnamon scroll and a handful of donuts. Both were tasty, light and so yum lightly warmed. Good menu with a variety of options and the servery had a great range too! Highly recommend!

We used Caffe Strada to cater for coeliacs at our at home wedding.

Absolutely first rate service and food. Highly endorse their abilities to cater excellent food AND to strictly avoid contamination for coeliacs.

Absolutely first rate.

Thank you for saving the day at our home wedding a few weeks ago Paul & Caffe Strada chefs! We were in a bit of a pickle with our caterer around ensuring Gluten Free food for some of our guests. It was such a relief to come across Caffe Strada. Our guests were treated to the best food & boy did they rave about it. The satay sauce was the best I've ever tasted. The salads were superb. The frittata was fantastic! I cannot fault the service, the food or the price. We even had a special delivery service to our door & follow up phone call to check on how it went.
I highly recommend Caffe Strada for your next catered event! Huge thank you.

Terrible experience, coffee was good bit one meal ok, the other was well of poor quality, when we came to pay, one of the staff was extremely sarcastic and very good to my wife, never going back. Paul, this requires your attention

Best fish and chips I've had in a very long tine. They even made the batter g.f and dairy free esp for me. Savoured every mouthful. Breads are amazing. Real artisan Style. Only tried the seeded one thus far. (Made awsome toasties with it at home.). Want to try them all. Definitely highly recommended eatery. Usually eating out is so diffiicult for me with my dietry requirements. Here I was almost spoilt for choice.

Best fish and chips I've had in a v long time.lovely crispy batter and tasty barra. Esp being gluten and dairy intolerant. Tried the g.f bread and I really love it. Amazing toasted or making a toastie. With a little O.oil spray on the outside. Yummm. I'll definitely highly recommend this place, and go back here (even tho it's a bit out if the way for me). Would love to try some other items on the menu next time. A breath of fresh air for me. Always Soo restricted to what I can have out. Here I'm spoilt for choice! (Wish there was one near me).

Came here for lunch on Tuesday with my mum and my 20 month old daughter. We sat down and because it was approaching lunch time and I could see she was showing hungry signs, I pulled out a snack for my daughter to tie her over until our luch came out. The waitress rudely said to me, "Is that Gluten free". I looked all over the packet to find if it was gluten free and I informed her that It says nut free and so on but it doesn't say gluten free. Without any explanation as to why, she abruptly told me to put it away. It left a sour taste in my mouth as we have spent roughly $70 on lunches there everytime we have come. We had ordered 2 main meals for myself and my mum and eggs on toast for my daughter and my mum ordered a glass of wine. I understand you have rules about gluten contamination (which were not explained until we asked about the rudeness when paying the bill) but I think the staff should be trained on tactful ways to tell customers about bringing gluten food into the cafe. I think that if you cleaned the tables after your customers then it should not be a problem. We are not ones to leave mess behind anyway! Would you rather a screaming hungry baby in your cafe. You really dont know what a mother might be dealing with or anyone for that manner, please have some courtesy. Also please invest in some proper high chairs. Ivanhoe is full of young families, those booster seats you have put on your chairs are dangerous as the straps do not fit across toddlers. There is a high risk of the toddler falling off the chair. Apart from all this, every occasion at this cafe the staff has been quite cold and unfriendly. We are far from difficult customers, we order our food, pay and leave. We wont be returning here ever again! Maybe when the waitress becomes a mother she will understand what it is like to try to enjoy a lunch out and keep the baby/toddler happy and entertained while waiting.

Amazing, delicious food!
It’s pricey but not considering everything is so well made and GF.
They have some awesome vegan substitutes too for their meals. A win for everyone

We brought my coeliac and fructose-sensitive family member here, and for once she was spoiled for choice! It was a beautiful relaxing time and so good to enjoy this together without worrying about contamination or inaccurate menus. Not too mention the food was so delicious and they have probably the best gluten-free bread I've ever had!
