Just finished one of the best Vindaloos I have ever had. I always ask for maximum heat (i.e Indian hot), and am often disappointed. Not today my friends. I've got sweat coming out of my eyeballs, triple vision, and I feel like I'm wearing radioactive lipstick. Such rich and complex flavours too. So happy good work

Just ordered over $100 worth of dinner from Cafe Saffron via Uber eats and they missed our rice order. I called them immediately and they told us they were too busy to fix the problem. Curry with no rice. Fail.

Top quality food! Great curries with solid meat portions. Lamb cutlets were the best we've had!

Very fine Indian food ordered on Uber Eats during the corona lockdown. Good range of dishes. All were very nicely executed. Couldn’t fault it. Would definitely order again.

Fantastic and very affordable take away. Our “go to” for Indian. Unfortunately with two kids it’s a little hard to dine out these days but take away travels well (we live 15mins away), food is always fresh and very tasty! We love Cafe Saffron

Casual and no waiting to be seated. The eggplant and potato curry was very nice. Tandoori looks nice also.

The ghost palak, biryani and dal makhani are all amazing here! One of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne.

Poor food, poor service and poor ambience/decor.

The dishes are often served uncooked (goat in our case). No apologies offered and no corrections made - only thing they said was they will let the chef know. Beyond logic!

Loved the banquet. We went for a friends retirement and we were looked after very well.
Only disappointing thing was my 10 dollar Rose' glass of wine which was very small.

Best local Indian restaurant. Staff are always welcoming. Food is always the best and is very reasonably priced. The fact it is always busy speaks for itself.

First time we were here was on a Valentine's Day, without reservation; they gladly accommodated us, and the set menu at the time was spectacular. Haven't hesitated to come back after that, whenever we crave Indian.

Great restaurant never fails to impress. Vijay and family are the greatest hosts ensuring a great meal and evening are had.
