Best Italian restaurant in Lygon Street. Food is sensational, staff are always friendly. We've been going here for over 25 years and never had a bad experience.

Food was pretty good. Service a little inexperienced. Getting pretty busy for a SUNDAY evening.

Delicious food, and generous size meals. I generally fly through a main meal, and felt like I barely touched my meal. The advantage of being able to take the rest home as well made for a prepared lunch for the following day. Highly recommend for someone wanting Pizza or Pasta

The pizza was amazing and I had an amazing pasta for main the kitchen chef is friendly and welcoming. It’s a MUST try if venturing down Lygon street!

The new shop fitting look great and the new pizza oven is so beautiful. The pizza's that come out of that oven are amazing too! You must try the Aussie pizza amazing!

Have been going here for 25 years. Casual with great pizza and pasta. Have just put in new wood oven. Reopen again 5 Jan 21.

Just reopened and fully renovated with a brand new wood fired oven. In the heart of Lygon st. This is an institution for Italian lovers.

Pizza was delicious! However, the wait is too long (1 hour + for food to arrive). I gave the joint another try as I did enjoy the food but, to my disbelief, I had been waiting for 15 mins and longer just to have no one come and take my order. After that, Id left and tried out copperwood (across the road) which had taken my order right away and served in 20 mins max.

Terrible place! We waited like one hour and half for the food! Terrible service very bad experience!

Not that busy due to covid19 which made our night relaxing and enjoyable the meals were excellent.
Well worth going there

Carborana Taste great, and pizza too. Reasonable price and service is great. Will come back next time.

What a lovely restaurant, we had the most beautiful dinner there and the food was seriously delicious! Can definitely recommend the seafood pizzas, with their new wood fire oven they really stepped up the pizza game!

Their food is so amazing, it is very fresh and its a very reasonably priced, definitely recommend.

If you're looking fir that Lygon St experience of days gone by this is it, Italian to the core, pasta, pizza, and even a Ferrari formula 1 car hanging on the wall, well half one at least, great portion sizes and friendly staff,

A delightful evening with family of four at this old established restaurant with a very good reputation. We enjoyed the meal we had ordered. Good and satisfying.

Absolutely brilliant the gnocchi with the 4 cheese sauce was amazing Angelo and his brother are fantastic and took time to speak with our kids but the beat bit is the old fella in the captain's hat with his polka playing just adding to a fantastic family resturant and atmosphere

We ate here purely because we managed to get a park out the front.
The food was tasty and generous in size, however the parmigiana serve was literally the size of the huge plate, and no one should have to decide between chips or salad.
Time to re-evaluate and update your menu- halve the meat size, and serve a smaller serving of chips AND salad.
Not sure that such a traditional restaurant is open to updated and healthier suggestions.
I hope so.

Great place to eat. Staff very friendly and for F1 fans a motoring palace complete with a Ferrari on the ceiling and a model of the marques only speed boat.

Was taken here for dinner Sunday night. Yummy pizza) Good friendly service. Accommodating staff. Would come again

Service was good for a super bussy GP night, and the pasta marinara was awesome and highly recommend!
