Amazing Italian food especially their pasta dish! Their pizza is an ideal dish to order as well! Cosy and comfortable seating atmosphere!

I visit Melbourne from Sydney once a year. Since one of my fave Italian restaurants closed down after the plandemic I had to find myself a new one. This is officially my fave new Italian restaurant. The food was bellissima. The service was great and the simple atmosphere brought a great vibe to diners. The brothers behind the counter are master pizza makers. Will return next year. Can't wait.

This Italian restaurant is next level the pasta is amazing spaghetti bolognaise was amazing and ravioli mushrooms sauce was to die for and homemade gnocchi was like little clouds of pillows that melt in your mouth with the chicken avocado cream sauce simply delicious.
We also ordered pizza we had cappricossa and Neapolitan’s with hot salami and the pizza is by far the most authentic Italian style pizza we have ever had and the toppings were fresh and delicious 10/10 the Service from our waiter was impeccable and promt.
I will definitely be eating at this restaurant again ️️️️️

Authentic italian food and interior! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. I definitely recommend this place.

Had some mixed emotions about this restaurant. The owners are obviously obsessed with Ferrari which made the atmosphere feel a bit juvenile as the whole place is decorated with it.

It’s in need of some TLC and I felt that the tables and chairs were cramped. The staff were friendly and the food came out fast.

The food quality was inconsistent. My cannelloni tasted like one you could buy frozen from Woolies, however some of my friends dishes were impeccable and some were just ok.

The pizza was solid, not exceptional. The desert was quite nice.

It’s an ok place but I wouldn’t return.

Had dinner here 2 weeks ago and will never step foot inside this place again. Ordered one of their gourmet pizzas with artichokes and it was the worst pizza I’ve ever seen and eaten. The base was super thin, there was no charring or crust around the edges, the toppings were so minimal, the artichokes were cut to a thin slither of a wedge and looked lost. For what we paid it was disgraceful. Dominos do a far better pizza and that’s saying something. If you like pizza, avoid this place. Brunetti’s across the road do a far better one, or go somewhere else. You’ll waste your money here. Never again!

As a regular here from the days when I was an infant (and when the Corretto ice cream counter occupied the shop next door) I have made a habit of introducing friend after friend to the generous, tasty, and ever-reliable fare at this Lygon St bastion. Angelo and Carlo haven't aged a day - surely a testament to the quality of their pizzas - and always offer a wonderful smile when dining or simply walking past. A special mention of their 'cardinale' pasta, and creamy mushroom veal scaloppini - the former is my regular and the potatoes that accompany the latter are a particular treat! Also, the F1 car suspended from the ceiling is always a conversation starter. A fantastic restaurant overall for both family and casual dining.

This place has gone downhill.
Had a problem with drinks not coming (after asking 3 different wait staff), ingredients on bruschetta sparse, management positively rude.
If you can’t serve food in a timely manner and reasonable quantity close your doors. There are plenty of other restaurants that value their customers!
Needless to say will never return here again.

The food was alright. I got a pizza which was actually pretty good. The customer service was mediocre.

I love Cafe Coretto. I have been going there for years. It has been refurbished recently. I think Coretto is iconic on Lygon St and some of the best racing car drivers like Michael Schumacher have dined there after the Grand Prix in the past. My fav pizza is the volcano but i add mushrooms yum!

Very popular place so can understand it being busy. The service wasn't the best but food was great!

Great place to eat a piizza. Was just roaming up Lygon and sat down here. It was quite busy but i got served in a reasonable time. Pizza was a gourmet prosciutto and goat cheese. Tasted great and the half I ate was just the right amount.

We had 2 x gluten free pizzas and they were delicious! Could not tell the difference. Would come back again!

Fantastic Pizza, staff friendly and prompt service. Rippa coffee strong and hot, very busy but still recieved our food in a satisfactory time frame. Highly recommend

Waiting on the table 36 for half an hour and nobody serves us. Low efficiency and bad environment! Won’t come again!

Went to dinner tonight with my family…the service was appalling. Our ordered wasn’t taking until 25 minutes later. We then ordered and after 15 minutes the staff let us know that they don’t have the meals we want as they are sold out, the waiter said they could discount the new ones for the inconvenience. Our meals took about 45 minutes to come out and the pizza took about 20 minutes after that. When we went to pay we let them know about the discount but the old guy at the register said there will be no discount. He was extremely rude. We said the meals took forever and the pizza came out after the other meals were finished. He said he watched our table and it wasn’t that long (which is creepy he watched us). He was extremely belittling and rude. We would never ever go to this terrible establishment again!

Exceptional food and even better service. I can't wait to return. Bravo to the team at Cafe Corretto.

Always such friendly staff, and food always the same. Witch is great cause it's not a disappointment.

Pizza is ok, pastas are no longer as good as in the past, and would get only a fair rating. I will not return. Check the adding machine
