Used to go to By Korea when they were on Victoria St. Richmond many moons ago, as an AYCE restaurant. But was suggested by a friend to try this one. A lil wait only cause it’s school holidays. But totally worth it. The food came out in a timely manner. Well presented and generous sizes. Great for sharing with 4 of my friends. Everyone liked everything, no crumbs were left. Personally I wasn’t a fan of the fried dumplings, just lacked flavour, but everything else made up in that department. And their $18 lunch special (not that we ordered) looked like a great deal! Will definitely come back!

Absolutely love their chilli pork bulgogi value meal. It's so tasty, the portion is good, lots of meat, and so worth the value.

Don't bother with delivery from By Korea. I placed a very simple order on DoorDash soon after 11.30am and it didn't arrive until almost 1.30pm (by which time it was useless to me). It doesn't matter how good the food is if it doesn't show up.

Tuesday night, 9.45pm. Sweet sticky crispy fried chicken served in under 10 mins with delicious fries. Just the right amount of spicy. 감사합니다

I have been there for a couple of times. Ordered a dolsot bibimbap. It was very hot and delicious. There were three side dishes such as kimchi etc coming together. Quite busy and popular. All mixed up with extra spicy sauce if you want more spicier. Although it wasn’t very spicy.

Classic Korean joint dishing out all the favourites. The fried chicken is always good, and the bibimbap with seafood pancake we had was amazing. Open late too!

The dolsot beef bibimbap and seafood pancake were both amazing. Loved the side dishes! Wish we could get unlimited sweet rice cakes. They were too good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating too.

I visited on a busy Saturday, but the staff were friendly and made my stay comfortable. We were able to eat delicious food at a reasonable price. I ordered the sweet chili fried chicken plate. The volume is good and the taste is good. The food was served piping hot and I was very satisfied. I would definitely like to go again because I want to try other dishes.

Spicy crispy chicken is amazing! It was quite different to other Korean fried chicken I've had. Seafood pancake was so good as well, a must get!
A bit small inside, but has a home-y vibe to it, feels cosy inside and welcome.

Perfect place if you want to enjoy Korean food, big portions, the server was great and overall a nice spot for a tourist not knowing where to eat.

9.5/10 Incredible food and experience. We ordered the KFC and it was truly delicious. The meat was extremely soft was perfectly seasoned. The outside was very crispy and the purple rice was surprisingly good. The only negative was that the portion sizes for the KFC were slightly too small for 2 people. Well done, By Korea!

Free leg day due to the 30 minute queue time. Almost got run over by a car while outside the restaurant. 4 stars because it didn't hit and instantly kill me

Busy little Korean restaurant. Food was amazing. A lot of Korean people eating there also shows the authenticity of the food. Definitely recommend.

The place is very very tiny but the food is really good!
We had kimchi pancake, Dolsot bibimbap and prawn been fried rice and all of them were delicious.
If you want to have a good food at very good price this is the right place!

By Korea is amazing little Korean Restaurant in China Town Melbourne, the food is so good, tasty and authentic.
The Korean Fried Chicken is crispy on the outside and moist inside just how it should be, everything is so tasty and satisfying, the staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is buzzing with enjoyment, the kitchen is constantly turning over meals as this is a really popular little spot! The prices are really reasonable also, I Highly Recommend BY KOREA.

Found the place by accident and was surprised how good are the food. We had pork and calamari bulgogi and they were delicious.

My favourite Korean place in Melbourne, the food has been awesome every time I go. And the prices are so reasonable.
