Buza Chicken

An overall amazing experience, with fairly quick service. We had Fried chicken with the smoked soy and sweet and spicy sauce, Corn cheese, Kimchi fried rice and Pork soup. The fried rice was a bit underwhelming but everything else was really delicious!

TLDR: Great place to go if you want to wait 55 mins to eat dry chicken with cold rice.

Waited 30 mins before being told they forgot to enter our order. Was then told our order will be put as a high priority but it took a further 25 mins (one can only wonder how long a "normal priority" would take). They served the rice 20 mins before the chicken arrived which made no sense, so we ended up with cold rice. The boneless chicken ended up being 90% dry chicken breast. We were in a rush so we had to finish everything within 5 mins. They did, however, offer us drinks, but as we were in a rush, we did not take them. This is not the Buza I remember, their standard has clearly dropped.

I order using with uber and cancel 2 times. First cancel one staff said I didn't tick spicy level of chicken but there is no check point in there. And I order again different types I waited for 1 hour and suddenly cancel and ignore my call. I'm really feel bad about your customer serivce

Pleasantly surprised by this place! It was a bit of a journey to find it in the rain as none of us had been before. The chicken was spot on. So flavourful, not too oily and perfectly crunchy. Addictive stuff. We also had some korean soup and pancake, as well as soju and beer. The place was quite busy during the week with many young people enjoying their chicken and beer!

I'm calling out to the owner of the business here. Please change the female friend with glasses, who is your service person in the front.because she really doesn't know how to treat a customer.most importantly, after their behavior towards us, I felt worthless here. What could be more important than that?

But I respect your food very much and it's really delicious, thank you for that.

One of the best fried chicken I've ever tried. Highly recommend to try their sweet & spicy fried chicken!

Few days ago, I went to Buza chicken to take away but the women who was looked like manager showed very unkind attitude for us. She was always frown and her attitude was so aggressive.

I love Buza chicken but, due to manager’s attitude, I will not go there anymore. The most important thing is the fact that was not a first time.

Dear owner, you need to know about it. Hope you can advise her to make her attitude kinder for customers.

I’ve been here for two years, and I hope after lockdown owner change the front team because they are extremely rude. I called to order during the lockdown, she never got my name right and understood my order. Chicken is good but always have diarrhoea all the time.

Well-exeucted Korean Fried Chicken is more difficult to come by than we’d like. Luckily, Buza knows how to do it just right. Offering the perfect crunch, abundantly juicy and succulent, with plenty of toppings and flavours to pair!

Of course, the vego options are no less appetising, and we enjoyed every bite of our meal at Buza.

Easily one of my fav korean fried chicken places! I'd recommend their kimchi loaded fries and the white sauce spring onion chicken! Sounds iffy but trust me it's amazing

The absolute best. Great staff and the chicken is magnificent! Stumbled on it by mistake and now I visit everytime I'm in Melbourne.

As Korean, I have always been recommending Buza chicken is the best KFC to my friends and coworkers, and flavor was number one. However, I have noticed that they changed chicken size or and quality of it. Furthermore, there is a lacking of care - way overcooked that tender meat even tough, and chicken costing is irregular and doughy. Too much sauce or little sauce on the chicken sometimes.

I thought the original concept was as perfectly good as KFC in Korea. Not any more. I hope owner of the venue read this and spend good time to bring back the glory.

P.s the chicken was really dry and overcooked that the cook has no or little knowledge of what he or she does for the job or precooked chicken before dinner service. What you charge for is not fast food store quality but good casual eatery standard. By the way, thank you for your time

When I want to eat Korean chicken I definitely come here. It’s really delicious other food as well. I think this Korean chicken is the most delicious in Melbourne:)

I don't know if it's a manager or owner, but I'm dissatisfied with the way he treats customers.
I waited for 2 hours after ordering, and they didn't come, so I called, but they told me to contact Uber Eats.
I asked him what happened to the food and he said he was waiting after making it.
So if you just wait for Uber Eats, the chicken will be soggy, so I'll call Uber Eats, and the restaurant asked them to contact Uber Eats.
Then I asked Uber Eats and they told me to contact the restaurant, so I contacted them again, and then the manager or owner said, "I'll contact you. Or would you like to come in person? "
Why would I pay Uber Eats to take it myself? I'm also careful about going out during the lock-down period.
And then suddenly, after about 10 minutes, my order was canceled. I called you four times again, but you keep ignoring it (not the call-back tone, but it just comes out when I press the cancel button).
So I called my girlfriend's phone and she immediately answered it and asked me why I didn't say anything when it was canceled.
But without saying sorry, he said, "How can we just not get your number? It's not our fault. If you're going to argue, it's Uber Eats. It'sir.
I hung up because I was speechless. I am writing a review because I want to let the world know this clueless, conceptless human beings.

주문 후 2시간을 기다렸는데 오지 않아서 전화를 했는데 우버 이츠에 연락하라고 하더군요.
음식이 어떻게 됐냐고 물었더니 만들어 놓고 기다리고 있다고 합니다.
그래서 우버이츠만 기다리면 치킨이 눅눅해질 테니 우버이츠에 전화하면 레스토랑에서 우버이츠로 연락하라고 했어요.
우버이츠에 문의하자 식당으로 연락하라고 해서 다시 연락하면 매니저나 주인이 "연락할게요. 아니면 직접 오시겠어요? "
내가 왜 우버이츠에 돈을 주고 직접 가져가겠어? 나는 또한 록다운 기간 동안 외출을 조심한다.
그런데 10분 정도 지나자 갑자기 내 주문이 취소되었다. 다시 네 번이나 전화했는데 계속 무시하시네요 (콜백음이 아니라 취소 버튼을 누르면 그냥 나와요).
그래서 여자친구한테 전화를 했더니 여자친구는 바로 전화를 받고 왜 취소됐는데 아무 말도 안 했냐고 묻더라고요.
하지만 그는 미안하다는 말 없이 "어떻게 우리가 당신의 번호를 안 받을 수 있죠? 그것은 우리의 잘못이 아니다. 논쟁할 거면 우버이츠야. 네, 맞아요.
나는 할 말을 잃어서 전화를 끊었다. 제가 리뷰를 쓰는 이유는 이 무분별하고 개념없는 인간들을 세상에 알리고 싶기 때문입니다.

Nice food, but TERRIBLE SERVICE. Order food a couple of times and each time I've had bad service. 1st time dining in they forgot my drink and they sat me right next to the door, it was super windy and cold that day and i asked to sit inside and the girl gave me attitude. 2nd time i ordered to take away via ubereats, i came early and waited outside for the notification to tell me it was ready. When i got the notification, i went in and walked to the counter. The usual girl was there packing a order (i assume it was mine), so i told her my name was Jimmy and i'm here to pickup a order. "Jamie? " the girl asked, i said "no, its JIMMY". She then told me that there isn't a "JAMIE". Then asked me to prove to her my order. I showed her the order on Ubereats app then she went looking through all the bags, and told me there wasn't anything there for "JAMIE". She then looks at the bag that she was packing when i came in, and said "JIMMY? ". I'm like.yeh thats what i said. She hands the bag over to me without any apologies.

Perfect food, I can say I’m a big fan of Buza and recommend it to everybody, I have more than 30 orders on delivery food Apps during stage 4. But I was so disappointed when I finally ate in the restaurant, the waitress is so rude and no service at all, we have to go to the reception to ask for a table, order food, take water and check out. When we ask for a small bowl to share the hot pot soup, the answer is they don’t have one. I tried to use a cup instead bowl, she came to our table ask me with the tone of blame “Are you sure? ” Well, it is the only time she came to our table and it’s not for service. And then she keeps staring at me which makes me uncomfortable. When I go to take a to-go box, the waitress hit the box from my hand, remind me it has an extra charge.everything was so rude, I would rather wish I never visited the restaurant, this really broken the favorable impression of here. I think I will not recommend Buza to others until I see the change. Pity for the great food here.

The chicken is so juicy and flavorful, especially the smoky soy one. Best bang for your buck group eating place.

22/04/2021: Food is always good but the staff was so rude and non-service mind.

I was dine in for a dinner. After I have been to this place so many times even during covid-19 situation I was order for take away so many times as well but today the woman who is working at the counter and wear a black shirt with glasses was rude and made me so disappointed to this restaurant.

I was paying at the counter and I miscount the money a bit because I did pay cash for this meal but the staff repeated total amount to me with rude tone of voice. And after that when I paid and got change, she was not even say Thank you to customer and just left the counter.

So Thank you very much for this kind of service!

I’m working in Hospitality as well so I know how kindly service response that all workers should have to customer. By the way, not in this restaurant.

Extremely good chicken! And bugolgi! And great staff!

For some reason, this buza chicken is just much much better than the new one in Melbourne central.
