We visited Burberry Collins Street on the 1st July, 2023, to be greeted by a friendly sales assistant, who made us feel instantly welcome. We first looked at bags, then went upstairs to the ready to wear women's section. The sales assistant brought out lots of options as I had asked to see the new collection and offered fantastic style advice. We were given French champagne in opulent etched champagne glasses, which was delivered on a silver platter. This added to the luxury experience. I purchased a special ready to wear piece which was wrapped beautifully. Thankyou for looking after us so well. We look forward to returning in store next time we are in the city.
Awful customer service. I am a client of Burberry having purchases numerous items internationally but he device at the Melbourne flagship bouquet is abysmal! They are understaffed unfriendly and simply dismissive. As a busy professional I would suggest people don’t waste their precious time there.

This is the first time visiting Melbourne Burberry, it was beautiful, I was greeted by Sasha and she was very relatable to talk to etc. I normally go to Burberry at Brisbane but this store is stunning, if only I lived in Melbourne!
So I walked in the store without an appointment. Sales associate greeted and I asked about polarized sunglasses. Without hesitation, she said, ”I believe they all are, but let me check. “I said, “ it would say polarized on lenses. “she started looking, didn’t offer me to seat down. I wish I had bought them in Sydney.
Awful experience
Walked in without an appointment and lisa (i hope i remember her name properly) was really helpful and patient. She showed my the entire collection of canvas and made me try all of them. Definitely one of the best experience I ever had:)
What an absolutely stunning store! Gorgeous in every way and the in-house barista makes some incredible coffee.
The only problem which is a pretty big one, is that if you’re a guy with very broad shoulders like myself, you cannot try on anything. I really wanted to try on some tops and coats, but they only stock up to size 50 which I could even get over one shoulder. Apparently, their policy is to order online and if the sizing or style isn’t for you, to return it.
I’m sorry, but part of the fun of being able to splurge on Designer brands is the in-store shopping experience. This was really disappointing and I hope Burberry listen and have all their sizes in store and get rid of such a ridiculous policy.
This was my first time buying Burberry in this store, and I was very pleased. At first, We were told to wait by the front lady around 5 mins. And their sales associate, Jack, came and greeted me and my wife. I was looking for a bumbag, and Jack, attentivelly, helped me to find the bag I loved. That made my wife wanted to purchase another bag (she previously bought LV bag). And she got what she wanted, a bag that pairs my bumbag.
We had a little chat with Jack while I waited my brother and his wife complete their purchase.
Jack, if you read this, We will wait you when you visit Bali the next time
Bought a Christmas gift here. What a beautiful store. Staff member Helena was fantastic. Probably my favourite store I visited in Melbourne. Will come again XOXO
First time I heard appointments are required to enter Burberry and waiting would take over 1.5 hours even though there were no customers inside. Shame for such an international brand to have bad customer service!
Been waiting for half an hour to get in when there’s only two customers in the store. Very bad experience!

I had the same bad experience. I wanted to buy a bag for my wife’s birthday, I was wearing casual, I was treated as a lower class citizen。you guys really need to learn how to respect your customers
Visited this store on Saturday 23 July. Asked if we had an appointment (the store had two people shopping). We went upstairs and a shop assistant asked if he could help and we replied we were just browsing. He then proceeded to walk behind us at uncomfortably close distance (no 1.5 metres here). Then he followed us downstairs to the exit. He didn't say a word just followed us like a black cloud of doom. We went there for a purpose - to spend a lot of money - but he made us feel like thieves.
We left and went to Louis Vuitton and had a great experience. And yes we spent a lot of money.
It would do these shops a world of good to realise that every person is a potential customer, regardless of what they look like, what they wear or their race. If you want to feel like a second class citizen this shop is recommended. Do better Burberry.
Worst customer service ever! Purchased a pair of boots for my wife online and went to the store to exchange with a smaller size though they kept us waiting outside the store in the cold for half an hour because of no appointment. The lady at entrance door didn't let us in to wait at the store and kept us behind the door. No mention whatsoever on the return form or invoice about making an appointment for return in store! We didn't get even an apology for such long wait outside. The guy who processed the return was so arrogant and unhelpful. I'd never buy from them again. Wish I could give zero star here

Racist and rude female staff member. Worst experience of my life. 25/5/22 around 0140pm I was at the main entrance with my husband. No entry was given”Reason- Apppointment only” When I question the female staff member that i can’t come in without appointment? The reply which I got was very shocking, ”You can come in but the starting price for bags is 3000$. I couldn’t believe she said this on my face. I didn’t even ask for the price. I was judged by my appearance. The management better train their staff not to judge a book by its cover. I calmly replied to her don’t worry I’ll come back another day. I went there to buy a surprise gift for my sister but not now. I can guarantee that staff member treats many more customers the same way she insulted me. Burberry should be ashamed of hiring such unprofessional staff.
Shame on you Burberry. Shame on you. I felt like crying the way staff treated me today.
Wonderful service. I booked an appointment and didn't have to wait long to get in. Was offered drinks too. No complaints. Although there was a sneaky price increase since I last checked
I purchased a nice wallet for my son here. Service is very good. I was looked after by Tyler who was helpful and professional. I understand now why they prefer people to make appointments.
Extremely bad customer service I guess because I wasnt dressed head to toe in luxury cloths I was treated like a lower class citizen having just came from the gym. Went there to buy a hat ended up going to Gucci because the customer service was better. Didn't catch the girls name she was a Caucasian lady brown hair looked like a manager such a bad attitude just remember you work there you don't own it change your attitude or go work some where else
