Bunnings Altona reviews
36I have been a regular at Bunnings Warehouse over the years for renovations and general home maintenance materials or tools. I have found their service to be great and the stock variety and price is also good. If I happen to find an item advertised elsewhere cheaper due to it being on sale, Bunnings are always happy to provide a price match, beating the competitor price. Bunnings is my go-to place for any home renovation materials & tools.
My mate didn't even know what he wanted I got sick of walking around with him so I left and after all that he comes out and says he can't find his wallet. Worst time ever.
Never got what I need I either have to buy a something different or pay double because out of stock for example a roll of fly screen wire 30m is $30 because they were out of stock I had to buy 2 x 2 m rolls for $20 in and if I travel further to Hoppers Crossing they will have everything
Always a great place to shop. Friendly staff and they are all very knowledgeable of where everything is.
Sausage sanga, power tools, the smell of fresh cut pine studs and hot checkout peeps. Gotta love Bunnings!
Yes it's Bunnings, with the st ok re format and model it's hard to Ser anything remarkable, the only thing is the staff that change things
This one is the same as every other Bunnings. Usually good pricing and a good range, but some products are clearly made as cheaply as possible.
Went to buy an indoor plant as a Christmas gift but the plants were overpriced and in terrible condition. I will shop elsewhere.
Don't dare ask the special orders desk with something like a special order. Nothing but negative attitude and "we can't do that". Lazy usless and a waste of time.
One of the better ones. Plenty of staff around on a Saturday surprisingly. Fairly clean and well organised Disappointed the cafe used disposable cups even for sit down customers
Waiting in line in the garden department 1430 today. It appeared both lines were open since employees were assisting customers.
With my cart full of merchandise i noticed employee at my check out only talking to customer.
When it was our turn we moved the cart forward and the employee simply walked away. I asked her isnt your station open. She said, no. Then she stood at exit with another employee.
If she thinks this is good customer service she needs to find a different job!
At least it had items that were not available at Bunnings port Melbourne! Not a bad drive from
Port Melbourne.
We hired a compactor they done the paper work verry quickly & ephishent even when i returned it the girl prossed the paper work just as quick & the man was outsid to give me a helping hand to get it of the trailer & bring it in the store im very pleased.
For some reason bunnings insists on calling itself altona when it is actually in altona north. Waited 3 weeks for treated pine sleepers with nothing went straight to mitre 10 and they had hundreds of the things and cheaper too.
I spent a lot of time and money in this Bunnings and I think they have degraded over the years. It used to be easy to find someone to get help from. Now need to run around if you have questions. In the last two occasions even after I found persons who should provide help they did not have any clue about the product that they should know everything about it. Pretty disappointing.
Be extremely cautious in trusting the 'experts' at any Bunnings Store with the Altona and Footscray outlets being among the worst offenders in giving out inaccurate and inappropriate advice. These staff members are not tradesmen and despite their claim of work experience logically they wouldn't be working at Bunnings for minimum wages when professional tradesmen salary starts at $300 dollars a day minimum.
