Buffalo Boy reviews
45 This place is doing a great trade. Definitely book your table.
Food came out fast, and was delicious
Lovely kind staff. We had a table of 8 for a double birthday dinner. All the food was tasty and large generous serves. I loved the steamed barra. The chicken skewers and pork belly were great entrees for all. Next time I can’t wait to try the pho which my sister loves. Thank you Buffalo Boy for a great night and letting me drop off the balloons!
Exactly what you expect. Comfortable restaurant with a great selection on the menu of easy Vietnamese faves. Well priced with great service
Very friendly staff and good service. Food is amazing and each time we go there we are never disappointed. Very consistent food quality!
Wonderful food, Great atmosphere. But some lanky don tarnished the experience due to intense level of lank.
Great place to have a family/ friends lunch. And really tasty food and very friendly staff & service.
We enjoyed their version of 'Yum Cha'. A choice of five dishes from a relatively small menu however most incurred an extra charge per person. Nevertheless the food was really tasty, fresh ingredients and nicely presented.
Awesome and quick place to grab lunch or brunch. Flavours and taste is on point and very tasty.
Great location and cozy restaurant with delicious Vietnamese. Too many good dishes to pick one but try the prawn dumplings, half chicken and coffee ice cream
Great place to come with friends or family. Really awesome vibe and an appealing menu with something for everyone
Dined with hubby for a quick Valentine's Day lunch. Been wanting to try this place which did not disappoint! Dishes were full of flavour, we got the feed me menu which was great because it was items we would usually pick. Service was also great! Massaman was very tasty and tender, the pad Thai was probably one of the best I've ever had and the tuna sushimi was so amazing that we ordered another one. Thank you, we will be back:)
Stumbled across this Brighton gem and had the best Pad Thai I've had in a long time.
Will be back for more.
Cute little outdoor side section that's semi-enclosed.
What a wonderful surprise this place is. We had a lovely dinner there last Friday. Friendly staff, truly delicious food and very reasonable prices. It is going to be our new favourite! Kay
One of the best Pad Thai noodle prawn dishes I've had in my life!
Excellent attentive staff and chef, for friends with specific food allergy requirements.
Great service and excellent meal. Restuarant can become noisy when full of diners but quality of meals makes it all worthwhile
The Pho has so much MSG is in that both my husband and I felt terribly bloated once we ate it. We shouldn’t need msg any more.
Popped in here one night after being in the city for the afternoon. Cute and lovely restaurant - food is beautiful, fresh and flavourful. Indoor and outdoor space to cater for all. Service was good. Can get busy, so make sure you book!
We had an unfortunate experience here this evening which was made so by the rude FOH staff with zero custom service skills.
The service was totally rushed, we were in the restaurant for 45 minutes in total from sitting down to being back in our car. We ordered the $45pp feed me menu, and it came all almost at the same time inc starters and mains. Normally this kind of experience is supposed to be staggered with so much food and you can pace yourself and enjoy it.
The servers were so desperate to get us out of there and they hurried the food to us so quickly the guy dropped some of the curry on the floor. The rest of it was put down in a rushed manner. No asking how the food was or if we wanted more drinks or more water (basic hospo service?)
I have to say though the worst part was that while we were trying to eat the server started mopping the floor / closing up the restaurant and the whole room smelt like chemicals. It was so overpowering that it was in no way enjoyable to eat while he was doing this.
We felt so rushed we asked to take food home with us and had two plastic containers thrown down on the table with no comment. We actually found it so rude that me and my mum were laughing at just how oblivious the staff were of how much we weren’t enjoying the experience.
And to top it off- as we started to leave the restaurant the outdoor lights had already been turned off and we had to use our phone lights to get out the side. It was only 9: 40pm…
Service honestly worst than what you’d expect at a fast food restaurant, not when you’re spending $180 and be in and out in 45 minutes.
A real shame as the food was actually good. Management - please train your staff or pay them more so they act like they care about working at your restaurant.
We dropped in for a spontaneous pho between lockdown 5.0 and 6.0. It was delicious! Really enjoyed it, and the ppl were so accommodating to us, kitchen had technically just closed but they were happy to serve us still
