This our local suburban go-to restaurant!
Always reliable for great service and good, honest food.
We love it and have no hesitation in taking guests there - they never let us down!
Ivan - the owner and maître d - is a very experienced restauranteur and his professionalism is stamped on every aspect of his fine establishment.
Whilst not necessarily 5 stars by CBD standards, it is most definitely 5 star by suburban standards!

I stopped in yesterday for the first time to get change from $50 to use the cash wash next door. The people were so nice and gave me the change that I needed without any hassle. Unlike the BP service station down the road that told me that I have to buy something in order to get change.

Bucatini was superb from the minute we walked in until we left. The food was excellent and well worth the prices paid. I would highly recommend the stuffed mushroom entree, veal scallopini main was one of the best I have had and the desserts were also divine. The service in particular from Anne was exceptional and we will be returning again very soon

Solid, consistent and cozy. My daughter's favorite place. We quite like the food and the service too.
We've over the months had steak, spag bol, paella, bruschetta, calamari that have all been excellent.

After a long lock down in Victoria i was excited to go out and have lunch in a restaurant. Sadly my joy has turned into extreme disappointment when I got the bill for a very poorly presented small pizza almost not having any topping and a caesar salad with three croutons, three bite size peaces of chicken and one poched egg on a single iceburg letuce. While i understand that the lockdown has affected everybody, this is not the way to invite back customers. I am very disappointed with the menue and i will never go back or reccomnend the restaurant to anybody. A $40 menue has to offer more than what was on my plate.

Service was great - very fast, helpful and professional. Food was mostly great - calamari AMAZING! Staff went to extra effort to accomodate our request to sit away from other diners as we had elderly relatives with us. Would definitely recommend.

Very few vegetarian options and the food is moderately expensive. I had the roast vegetable pizza which was quite filling

Quality is not terrible, price is a bit on the high side, and wait times for food is not great but not a bad location all round.

Excellent food, extensive menu and can highly recommend the Lamb Shanks. Good service too from the staff, will visit again

Absolutely amazing deserts, well presented and absolutely delicious, will be regularly ordering and coming in to this place.

Disappointed.
Chips were soggy and overcooked.
Seafood spaghetti was tasteless.
Risotto was cold.
Very expensive and driver wanted $7 more than menulog said it would be.

Just shared a get-together at Bucatini's after a family funeral. The environment, the food and quality of service were all exellent. Thankyou!

We were impressed.hard to find a fault. The owner is hands on with the customers. Very nice.

Second visit. Good table service. Seafood stew didn't seem complete with half a Moreton bay bug and no bread. Felt lacking for the price. The star of the dish was the rich garlicky/seafood broth. Lifted and tied the dish together. Seafood was slightly overcooked so not tender and juicy. No cat parks available-busy times. So had to park down the street

Overpriced and overrated. Mediterranean lamb salad with only 6 thinly sliced pieces of lamb. Caesar salad with chicken, lots of lettuce and croutons and not much else. Used to be good, but feels like an old bunch of guys running the place and ripping off the customer. Ladies toilets, toilet rolls falling off the wall, very warn. Won't be back, very disappointing.

We celebrated my husband’s 80th birthday in the function room at Bucatini and everyone enjoyed the occasion very much, 28 guests in total. Our 3 course menu was delicious, we had a dedicated waiter, who did a wonderful job keeping the guests happy and we would highly recommend Bucatini Restaurant on every level. Thank you to all staff members.

Excellent food, good variety. Salt and pepper calamari was the best I have had anywhere. BYO wine $8.50 corkage. Parking good.

I would like to thank Bucatini Restaurant and Bar for allowing Town Club Nunawading to enjoy a fabulous night at your Restaurant. Your staff as always do such a wonderful job I delivered thirteen hampers in the afternoon they were placed on a table, I had a CD which you placed in your system for when needed and many other requests were all attended to, I can’t thank all your staff enough! Nice Italian restaurant with ample seating and parking. The place has a decent bar which stocks a good variety of drinks. The staff members are friendly and the serive is adequate.

Had the best night we flew down from wollongong for my mother in laws birthday. Great food and service
