Bucatini Restaurant & Bar

Went for lunch. Great food, great cocktails, service was good. Pricing is reasonable. The bench seating is very uncomfortable.

We are never disappointed at Bucatini and we made certain it was the first venue we visited following the recent lockdown. This time again we had excellent food along with quick and efficient service from friendly staff. Very classy venue without being over the top and always kept looking first class. You can bring your own wine but there is great range on offer. Top marks Bucatini.

Happy to report that the high standard set by Bucatini has not faulted. Customer service, performed by staff who want to make a difference is a lost art, but not here. Thank you again.

We had a wonderful function in the front dining room last night. The service was outstanding, friendly and helpful.
The food delicious!
They allowed us to stay back way past there closing time, and there was no pushing us to leave…. So appreciated.

Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Calamari was lovely and flavourful but sadly the pasta didn’t meet our expectations of $40 pasta. The scallops, tomato etc.in my fettuccine dish were nice however the pasta itself was bland and plain and the sauce tasted like absolutely nothing which was a bit of a let down. The place looks great for groups and functions though but us two were a bit underwhelmed today.

One unopened mussel with my marinara was considered a joke by waiter - in fact it reflects poor standards from chef

Generous serving for the entree sized meals and all staff are friendly and polite. The price is competitive and if you’re looking for a nice Italian meal, put Bucatini on the list.

Hi, went to this restaurant last evening. Ordered an Entree for the 3 of us which was tasteless. Ordered Lamb Shanks for main also tasteless, all 3 parties tried with the same result. Sent back and then felt ridiculed for doing so. Spoke to staff and they did not seem at all concerned. Will really contemplate returning to this restaurant

Friendly waiting staff- ambience was good- appears to be a “fine dining white table cloth” but you can relax and chill and have fun… great place to celebrate anything or just a couples dine in!

As always the service was impeccable. Bucatini was able to accommodate our December group booking with only a week's notice after cancellation by another restaurant.
The food was delicious, the chef's special rack of lamb mmmmm m.
For a lunch time booking the lighting seemed dark on what was quite a bright day, the acoustics aren't fabulous but the carpet does dull some of the noise; otherwise perfect.

Lovely food & service was good & they were on to it. Love my pasta dish & kids loved their food too especially for my son's birthday. So close to home, perfect.

Vegetarian Lasagne was incredibly and definitely try the Tiramisu, we are certainly going back.

I’ve been here before and it was a lovely experience however my second visit last night to celebrate an 80th birthday was a massive let down. Service was sloppy and inattentive, not enough staff to properly wait tables with care and attention. None of the staff asked us how our meals were, no one poured any drinks for us either, it just felt like they wanted us to eat and get out and everything just felt rushed. We arrived at 6: 30pm and most of the tables were occupied however by 8: 15pm the place was virtually deserted. My veal scallopini was Luke warm and the sauce was too thick imo. The pizzas ordered as entree were not nice and the antipasto plates had barely any deli meats on it, bread was stale too. We brought a cake to cut after dinner and some champagne to celebrate but the whole mood of the place made us feel it was probably best we take our cake and champagne home and celebrate there. Overall very disappointing experience, won’t be back again anytime soon.

Service was great. A bit noisy but it was a busy time for dinner so it was alright. Wait staff were very attentive as well. Will be back to try their pasta and pizza!

Lovely atmosphere near the fireplace, a serving team who are engaged in their work and a gorgeous menu.

Yesterday we celebrated my mothers 80th birthday at Bucatini’s with near 40 of her friends & family.
Absolutely first class service by Ivan & Paul; their attention to detail was a credit to them both.
The food served was spot on. Highly recommend this restaurant to all to try. It will be something my family will always remember.

It was a refreshing change to be able to see our '"old friends'" at Bucatini. Ivan and his staff looked after us in their usual manner, we were made to feel very much at home.
How nice was it to sit back and have great food with great service.
The ambience is really nice, and the excited buzz of diners even on a Tuesday night confirmed that some things haven't changed. What a great night, good food, great staff. Well done Ivan.
