I visited this famous cafe on Degraves Street. Contrary to what it looks like from the outside, the inside of the store is quite large. There is a wide variety of cakes and desserts on display at the entrance. If you go a little further, there is a space where you can get coffee, and there are many baristas. At the very back, there is also a space where you can enjoy meals such as wood-fired pizza and sandwiches. It was fun to look around because it was an open kitchen.
We ate Lamington and Long Black and enjoyed them very much. I recommend a visit ^^

Chilled vibe. Good coffee. Nice layout. Sweet tooth's haven. Enormous choice of decadent sweets.

3.5 stars
Stadium cafe but mostly works. Good food, coffee etc

Problem is, and it's a big one, you don't order food where you order coffee, and same for cakes. It means you end up not bothering with parts of an order as often too busy. I loath qr codes but maybe they'd work here, or, you know, hire staff to wait.

Brunetti’s in Flinders Lane is a scrumptious food store that sells delicious meals and specialises in amazing desserts. The food is more on the pricey end but is 100% worth it. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice and makes it when you eat the food feel more upmarket. Go try out the delicious cakes and desserts at Brunetti’s because you will love it.

Come here for cakes and pastries not for coffee. This is an Italian stylised cafe and despite it being in Melbourne, world’s coffee capital, they serve mediocre coffee. Long story short, get your cakes and enjoy them with GOOD coffee elsewhere.

Such an awesome Italian experience here in Melbourne, it’s a modern twist to the classic Brunetti. Shout out to Chef Lan who was really nice in making the Carbonara pasta! Really considerate when we wanted it to be less salty. I understand that egg yolk and cheese combined will make it salty, but she was very accommodating despite the other chef lady not being open to our request and just dismissing us saying that Carbonara is meant to be salty PERIOD and not giving me an option. Just saying that carbonara is SALTY is not good enough! Good thing Chef Lan showed us HOSPITALITY and CARE! As customers this will make us come back again to Brunetti Oro and not the from the lady who showed us NO CARE.

Buzzing atmosphere! Over the years I've seen Brunetti getting busier and busier. It's always a packed now! Great when your alone, squeeze into a seat and absorb the vibe. Not as fun when you have a group and 'fight' for a table. However great pizza and pasta for a good price in the CBD (when pasta restaurants in the CBD tends to be at the high end). The pizza is delicious napalese style base.thin in the middle with a soft fluffy crust (yum). Toppings are always tasty. Our favourites are Margerhita and Calabrese. Pastas and lasagna a very flavoursome. And you have to love a restaurant where the carbonara is made the proper way with egg yolk (not short cut way with cream). We do find the pasta can be over seasoned on occassion
Desserts look great. And the small sizes is a good way to try a variety of sweets. Over the decades, while I still enjoy them, either the quality has changed or my tastes have changed. They are not as 'wow' as a remember (when I used to visit the Carlton store when visiting from Sydney). I wonder if the expansion of the business means the volume, storage and transport has had an affect?
Coffee is Ok. While a prefer deeper and richer flavoured coffee, there are plenty of smiling coffee drinkers here

If you are after an European experience this is the place to go. Starting from coffee to dinner you can't say anything bad about it. Well done

A bit hectic in the morning with a lively atmosphere which adds to the charm of this place. However, it’s also important that liveliness is distinct from disorder, and so the hectic nature of Brunetti in the morning may be attributed to its popularity but I feel like the layout of the waiting area for takeaway coffee can be cleaned up and seating areas in the morning can be more organised.

The quality of the coffee is top notch as always, and the food is of high standard, just as one would expect from drinking or dining at Brunetti.

This place has dropped his quality! Had a breakfast yesterday, the bread was 1$ coles sliced bread, and not even fresh. The staff was not able to manage removing cheese topping for a vegan friend. Nothing even close to an italian style food.
Worse way to spend 25$. Never again!

Nice place but you can only order food from some counters and drinks from others. Also not the most family friendly. There were no high chairs available and no kids options on the menu. Coffee and food were great though.

Never pick up the phone.
Waste half your life on hold to never be picked up.
Poor service and will look to buy a cafe else where.

Coffee was very ordinary and expensive. Italian baristas would be laughing if they saw prices like these. To top of a bad experience, 11 cents handling fee. Never again Brunetti - overrated and expensive, two things that leads to terrible customer outcomes

No wonder the brother of this owner has split to form his own place. This place has gone downhill big time. 20 minute wait to order coffee and breakfast. No table service and unorganised staff. Give it a miss guys

Mucked up our delivery which was meant to be a morning tea shout for a work place. The delivery driver had no idea what he was doing. They only delivered half of it and then I had to waste my morning following it up. No apology made. Good food but terrible delivery service.

If you appreciate the finer things in life, then Brunetti is the place for you. A wide variety of baked delights to choose from, as well as a full espresso bar and beautifully and clean dining area as well. Will be back.
