Brumfield Winery & SLAQ Brewery reviews
39Great winery no BS, no fancy set up but real people that do enjoy making wine with love to share. Great wines made using natural techniques. I recommend the Traminer! Hard to get in Australia.
The flatbreads are 10/10! Had a lovely tasting and chat with the winemaker, and thoroughly enjoyed the Sangio Spritz. Also lived the company of Charlie and Benny the dogs. Will be visiting again!
Had a lovely Shiraz at Brumfield today, and although they're not a restaurant the menu has some good options. We shared the hummus with sourdough as well as a lamb lunch special and both were delicious. Very generous portions too.
Front of house staff Benny was very attentive, walking us to and from our car to make sure we didn't get lost. Definitely recommend if you like a laid back atmosphere
Amazing service, great wine and fresh homemade food. Definitely recommend a visit. Benny is around for a pat in the relaxing garden, we will be back
Beautiful delicious food and the people are lovely. We cannot think of anything bad about this place at all. Absolutely amazing
David and Anda were very hospitable, wine was delicious, food (especially the cauliflower with truffle oil flatbread) was amazing. Kids Loved It. 5/5 A brilliant find
Amazing place, unpretentious, dog friendly (if you hate dogs don’t go here and also F off) the owners and their dog are friendly knowledgeable and masters of their craft. Highly highly recommended. If star rating went higher I rate them 11
For starters, the wine was so good. Really enjoyed everything they make. Then the owner was a delight, could have chatted for ages. A great doggo greeted us & we left with beautiful sourdough. What’s not to love? We will be regulars I think.
A well deserved 5 star rating, the 5 dishes we ordered were diverse and all tasted absolutely beautiful.and the beer battered pickles AMAZING. The service was very welcoming and attentive, thank you.
Highly recommend if your open minded in trying something unlike any other in the valley.
Wonderful welcome from both owners who took time to talk about their wines and beer with a genuine passion.
The flatbreads were great and so filling that we couldn't finish them. We were offered a doggie-bag to take them away but unfortunately, this didn't include Benny the Lab/Staffie cross who is the real star of the show:) Maybe next time.
Thank you and we are looking forward to our next visit.
Greeted by the lovely resident dog Benny, (drive slowly through the car park, he does move out the way like most farm dogs but likes to follow the car), followed by the lovely owner who talked us through a wine tasting.
We came with our kids and were told not to hesitate to bring our well behaved dog with next time!
The wines are very good and the cider is delicious.
Food is good, great for a quick bite or light lunch.
True farm style place with open grass area but also has indoor seating and undercover outdoor seating.
We happened to stumble across this place after finishing some berry picking near by and weren’t disappointed.
We didn’t have a booking.
Really nice and friendly owners, great wine and beer. Don't be put off by the quaint exterior, there is a great feel about this place.
Currently enjoying the best pale ale I've ever had. This was our last stop for the day and the owner was very accomodating and informative. We'll definitely be coming back.even if it's just to say hi to Benny!
First time to Brumfields winery
I was impressed with this quaint little place. Lovely wine, beer, ciders and snacks. Lovely knowledgeable owners and resident dog Benny. I will be returning.
Had an all round amazing and lovely experience! Loved everything about this place. As soon as you arrive you're greeted by the cutest furry friend Benny, the owners were also very welcoming! Wines and ciders were all amazing, it's not often that we enjoyed every thing we tasted. Alongside the drinks they had a lot of food to offer and everything we had was very delicious. We left with very full bellies and big smiles. Would definitely come back to visit again!
Amazing craft beer, happy hour platters were spot on. Hosts are very helpful and welcoming. Great experience and can highly recommend.
David and Anda are excellent hosts. The wine is excellent and the food and service equally so. Thankyou, once again for a lovely afternoon.

Small local brewery/winery. Warm hospitality and great spot to chill out. So welcome and gave me tasting and even though looks busy and I’m solo, non booking customer.
Recommend to be there if you go around the area!
Wonderful relaxed atmosphere and food made with the best ingredients. Wines and beers also excellent!
Such lovely owners and lovely spot to stop and have lunch with a glass of white. Worth stopping by if you are in the area.
