Brim CC reviews
48 I order udon, rice box and some bowl seaweed salad from here.
The main food it’s good. But not for the seaweed salad. I don’t know why my seaweed salad looks slimy and smels not nice. I tried one spoon, and that’s unpleasant seaweed salad I ever taste.
So sorry but i have to give just 3 stars for that experience.
Nice quiet spot, best food I’ve had in a long time. Definitely recommend the chicken katsu Currie
Very nice little restaurant not far from our hotel. 5 brothers and dad. Price was very reasonable. Food was all very good. Service was friendly and helpful for a bunch of country boys who can't read a menu. Will come again.
Veey good place for japanese food that can be considered hidden gem in Melbourne CBD. Close to Southern Cross station, and easy to spot on.
I just come here once and definitely going back!
First try japanese chicken katsu curry was not bad. Great taste, large portion, and the price is cheap reasonable! Extra thing is they use or at least combine rice with red rice which is healthier / leaner option.:)
Gotta come again!
Authentic little Japanese cafe with quick service and great food quality. Also really well priced. Everything is organic apparently. The pork in my ramen definitely tastes better than any other one I have tried. Also for $15 it must be the cheapest in Melbourne. They are all close to $20 these days which I think is crazy! Really nice and polite staff, my order didn’t take long at all. Looking forward to going back and trying a bento box I think. So far, highly recommended!
The food here is absolutely amazing! Friendly team and amazing owner (or the person I thought was owner)!
After I finished my dinner there, I forgot my wallet and the staff keep it safe and even stay back a bit after work for me to be able to pick it up. I'm very appreciated the team over here:)
They seriously should have more recognition!
Cute little restaurant, the lady serving us was very friendly and the food was very good for the price.
Amazing choice for a pre-flight dinner! Was packaged extremely well, still steaming by the time I checked in. Generous with the curry sauce, used that healthy multigrain purple rice, carrots were so tender they felt like sweet potato, and beef was juicy - just like three menu says!
Such a quaint understated place but the food was amazing. I totally loved it. If you want a nice place for you and a friend to catchup for a casual meal then this is it
Always delighted to dine at this gem near Southern Cross Station. Have been patronising this restaurant since 2020. Lucky to have this restaurant just across my place.
Fantastic place. Very homey healthy meals at affordable prices. Great for work lunches that aren't too heavy. Grab the curry and soup combo.
Found this on ubereats, but went in for the dine in experience as I want to ensure my meal that I was looking forward to should be as delicious as the other reviews say.
Boy, did I make the right choice!
Service is nice and friendly, bonus!
Curry: delicious, bold, Japanese curry style with soft brown rice and soft beef and a meatball to complement it. Very good quality!
Gyoza: unexpectedly juicy! Pan fried to perfection, what a surprise! Thought I had to visit a dumpling house to get a juicy dumpling!
Definitely 5/5 from me!
Looking forward to try their okonomiyaki and loco moco!
Well done guys keep it up during this tough time!
Delicious karaage iv ate in my entire life and the best chicken curry katsu don berry nice customer service thank you for the experience
I've had lunch here a few times with my co-workers. There's something for everyone, even if you're vegetarian. They have a healthy, honest-to-goodness selection of Japanese dishes.
Sometimes, you just want a reasonably-sized portion of hot soup and curry rice to warm your belly up on a winter afternoon; they have that, too! They don't close in the mid-afternoon like other places do.
What a wonderful hidden gem of a place. Adored my comforting Curry katsu. Looking forward to a next round in the future!
First day back in the office and my colleague suggested Brim CC for lunch. No regrets at all! I love that you can go for healthier non-katsu options for the curries that are equally satisfying and tasty. Simply wonderful. Will be back for sure thanks to quality, taste and price.
A gem within the city.we proved the chicken curry and the chicken salad. Both spectacular. Definitely wanna tried again!
Very nice Japanese food with some good things to choose from, the price is very good for what you get and the wait time is not very long. If you're after some high quality and organic Japanese cuisine, this is the place.
Everything they make is delicious and really cheap for the quality. The could charge twice the price and I’d still eat here regularly
Love their Okonomyaki! It’s a great place that’s nice and cozy especially if you come when it’s not busy.
