BFWC is a wonderful clinic that all members of our family attend. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and all doctors at the clinic are thorough and caring. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our family.

I have only had consistently positive experiences at BFWC - they have supported both my health and my family's over the last decade. It doesn't matter which doctor we see, our regular one, or someone who is free at the last minute, they treat us with kindness and respect. I will always take my daughter there for immunisations - the nurses are incredible, and she barely notices the sting of the injection. And the reception team are similarly wonderful - always willing to help if they can. I couldn't recommed this clinic more highly.

Best GP service in Melbourne with caring and attentive Doctors, Nurses and secretarial staff. The doctors never rush you and are thorough at all times. I would never go anywhere else. Outstanding service. 5*

Couldn't recommend Dr Maria Sullivan more highly! She is so caring and fantastic at her job. She makes you feel at ease about everything, and she's very easy to talk to. I recommend her to all of my friends!

I have been attending this clinic for nearly 5 years & Dr Manu Rao is the best. Dr Manu is very thorough.
If you are looking for a supportive & caring Dr who takes the time to listen & go through your medical history to try & determine the cause of your symptoms then Dr Manu is highly recommended.
Yes there is often a bit of a wait for appointments & her appointments often go beyond the standard consult times, but this is because she is so popular & doesn’t rush her patients, so any wait times are well worth it & she will always prioritise follow-ups.

The time between appointments is outrageous. The excellent doctor Manu Rao keeps telling my elderly mother that she MUST be seen on a fortnightly basis. Whenever my mother tries to arrange this, the staff tell her that she has to wait up to a month. She is awaiting numerous test results and the added anxiety on top of the pandemic to wait for these results against the doctor's request is simply unacceptable.

This clinic is fantastic. I don't know what people are complaining about. The reception staff always look extremely busy handling people between calls booking appointments. They seem like an efficient power team of women to me.
Doctors are highly professional and knowledgeable.
While it does upset me to think not all people can afford such fantastic care, I do appreciate it.

2021 edit: they have become so busy I can never get an appointment. All the doctors seem to be part time so when I do online script request sometimes they don't come through for a week.
It's so sad because the doctors are great but I'm going to have to go somewhere else.

The clinic manager and some of the staff’s attitude left a lot to be desired. They do not listen to what you have to say over the phone and talk over you.

I contacted the clinic nearly 2 months ago and I’m still waiting for a respond from the staff/Dr Sullivan. Will not be returning as they do not place emphasis on their patients.

Update: I contacted the Practice Manager, Philippa and understood that the clinic manager I spoke to previously was not who she claimed to be. Philippa was quick to address and resolved the issue.

When our local doctor retired a couple of years ago I decided to try BFWC. To my delight I found Kathleen the medical receptionist had moved to this clinic.
I find the reception staff, especially Kathleen, always patient and friendly.
And Dr Sari Erlicht is patient, kind and VERY thorough.

I waited for 1 hr after being scheduled early. Very poor service. Unprofessional service. I appreciate good explanation from receptionist but Dr soon has never been professional.

Have seen a few different doctors - all have been wonderful, thorough and are detailed. Special thanks to Dr. Irena, Dr. Marita & Dr. Sari. Reception is always busy with calls & patients, they do their best and try to accommodate. Car park can get busy at times, easier to park on the street instead. Worth it.

I've been to this clinic twice and I found the reception staff to be caring and helpful. The two doctors I saw, Dr Kate Naylor and Dr Maria Sullivan are both extremely caring and professional. And the nurse, Willamina (the Dutch nurse) was great as well. I can't recommend this clinic highly enough. It is expensive, especially for someone like me who is on a pension. (I have to live on $960 per fortnight and it cost $180 to see Dr Sullivan. But, I was with her for at least half an hour, and she rang a cardiologist while I was there to make sure that the medication she wanted to give me was absolutely safe - it was. So I think it was worth the money to see Dr Maria).

Highest possible recommendation for Dr Kate Naylor. There is simply no way to adequately express how exceptional the skills are of this "One in a Million" dedicated and highly professional medical practitioner. Dr Kate goes over above for every single one of her patients. She dedicates the time and research (often in her own personal time) to ensure her patients receive the best possible treatment available. She is a doctor that really cares and really listens. There is no other doctor I could recommend more strongly. I highly suspect if you book an appointment with Dr Kate, you will agree with all my comments.

No compassion. I called reception to make a 30 minute appointment with Dr Kate Naylor. I was told by reception that I could not make an appointment with her because she does not see babies who are not breastfed. When I got off the phone I was nearly in tears. My baby is suffering a lot and I desperately need someone with tongue tie experience to look at him. I thought this clinic was family friendly. I guess not.

Dr Maria Sullivan is by far the most sympathetic, professional and extremely thorough doctor in the clinic (in my opinion)

Been visiting this clinic for over 5+ years. Have seen different doctors here with myself and my family.

Despite the other comments reception are generally pretty friendly and switched on. The nursing team and Doctors are excellent and highly recommended.

My only improvement would be an addition of an email address - I just don't have time to be calling up and being on hold for enquiries.

Dr Maria Sullivan is kind and genuinely cares about her patients. I’ve had no issues with the reception staff and this is the best medical clinic I have ever been to!

The doctors are all very good, helpful, caring and lovely especially Dr Woodard but for some reason the reception staff have been without fail (over several years) consistently rude and if you ask them for something they are so put out by it. These people should not work with other people or animals. They’re in the wrong job!
