Bridgewater Bakehouse

Jelly slice is one of the best I've ever eaten. Coffee was good too. Only drawback is that there is no indoor seating.

I don't go through Bridgewater that often but each time I do, I stop here. There is always service with a smile by the ladies behind the counter and they do a beautiful coffee, oh and the food ain't bad either.

Big line but if a wait up but is has a decent meat pie and the vanilla slice is very nice. The staff are friendly and the prices very good.

Their pepper steak pie, was yummy, you could really taste the cracked pepper, and vanilla slice and custard tart was both yum. I'd go back. Highly recommend this bakery if travelling through Bridgewater Victoria.

The Bridgewater Bakehouse has some of the best pies ever. I would recommend the lamb & gravy pie. It is the best lamb pie I have ever had.
The lines are big because everyone wants to try the great pies. Be prepared to wait a few minutes. The slices are also brilliant. I would recommend the lemon one.

Great coffee. Lovely place to stop for a break. Busy place that handled Covid safety with efficiency.

Enjoyed the pies on mid-afternoon Saturday, Vanilla Slice pretty good too, so we went back Sunday. Long queue to get in Sunday, and enjoyed the pie even more 2nd time around, this time hotter and cooked spot on.

The vanilla slice is a work of art. Really disappointed with the sausage rolls, not up to the usual (excellent) standard.

Bridgewater has the most amazing jelly slice, vanilla slices, custard tarts and many more! The coffee was the best we had in a while!

The BEST FOOD. LOVE THIS PLACE.always busy and you will have to line up to wait but totally worth it. The staff are fast and very lovely.

Award winning café, best vanilla slice here in the state (possibly the country, who knows) better than the one in Dunolly, service is 10 out of 10.

Only had coffee here, but unfortunately was not great, coffee had a bitter aftertaste and wasn't the best quality.
It would be ideal (though I'm probably asking too much) for businesses like this to get some training from a top barista, as well as a bean blend overhaul, choosing some quality beans would very much improve flavor.
For now I guess I'll just wait for a big town before getting coffee in the area.

So I got a rhubarb pie and took it home but once I went to ate it I found a toenail inside it. Im not angry I just want to know whos toenail it was

We stopped at the bakery for a quick stop back home from Swan Hill. The Mrs loved her Scones as her words were "delicious" and her coffee. My Cheesecake sliced was very nice and soft and delicious. We will definitely stop there again the next time we visit up in the area.

For vanilla slice lovers, won some comp past two years, the base of slice was special ill give it that, is busy in the mornings

I have never once been disappointed by the food here. This is a regular stop for me on the way to or from Melbourne/Geelong. Be aware this is a popular stop and usually there is a line. Worth it though.
