Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto - Oakleigh

I used to go here & loved it. It was cheap & everyone was friendly, including the manager. But they must have changed hands because the next time I went in, the manager was rude and frankly had no idea what he was talking about.

Great experience. Very helpful staff. I tried other Bridgestone stores before but this one is best. I am uber driver i had call to other stores for quote and offers. No one gives buy three get one free offer even its on online but they give me uber discount and buy 3 get one free as well. The uber app and Bridgestone site do not show any option to redeem uber discount instead of that they give me uber offer by theirselves. Very happy with service. Thank you mate

I had made a booking for 9: 30am to have new tyres all round. Got there at 9: 15am and I asked on arrival how long it would take to fit and was advised 1.5 hours approximately so job should have been completed around 11am give or take. Staff had to ask me how to stabilise my car and also how to take wheel nuts off as they thought it had some special tool or something. No special tools required. My car was not even taken into the workshop until 10: 35am. Fitting was not completed until 1: 55pm and was advised that wheel alignment would take an additional 20 - 25 minutes. I definitely had enough of the waiting game by this stage and was pushed for time to grab lunch and make school pick up so I declined. Was offered the opportunity to come back another day for this but I don't believe that I will be back. EVER! What a total waste of a whole day! Staff didn't even take my car out of the workshop. I had to reverse it out myself (yes, I am very capable but that's not the point when you spend $2,108 on new tyres) Was asked to reverse a bit so they could take car jack out from under car and then advised to mind the other equipment in the workshop. I also checked my tyre pressure after leaving and all tyres were different pressure also. I felt their customer service was questionable to say the least. Over 4.5 hours to fit 4 tyres, what a joke!

Such a simple and easy process, we spoke with Mark (what a legend!) over the phone who educated us on what the best tyres would be for our car and the best value for money. It can sometimes be a big financial worry to buy tyres, and stressful not knowing if we’re purchasing the right ones, but we know with Mark’s expertise and guidance we made the right choice. A simple and enjoyable experience, we’ll definitely be back here in 50,000 kms or 5 years, whichever comes first! Thanks again Mark and the team at Bridgestone Select Oakleigh!

1. Yes polite. Hence 2 stars given.
2. The wait is way tooooo long. Understandable if they are busy with many cars.
3. Amount charged was more than what was agreed at the start.
3. New tyre uneven wear. Noticed after around 150kms. Went back was told the vehicle must have hit something hard.
4. Got charged again for another wheel alignment.
5. Again a long wait.
6. The tyre still wears uneven.

Thanks to the team at Bridgestone Ferntree Gully Road for the super quick turn around when I came in for 2 new tires and alignment earlier in the week, within a couple of hours all was done, quick and painless. I’ve never experience such great customer service from a tire shop until now.

Very bad experience, confirmed with me yesterday that they have the tyre for my car,
Went in today and waited for hours only to tell me the tyres won’t fit my vehicle due to load rating.
Couldn’t you guys check this before making me come in?

Poor communication, poor service. Had an appointment yesterday for an allignment which was cancelled without any notification. Giant waste of time and difficult trip for for myself as it's difficult for me to get around after a surgery.very disappointing.was treated like I didn't matter.

Had 8 tyres fitted here and another car going in shortly. David and team care about their customer's cars. David is very thorough and his customer service is second to none.

Happy customer! I am a young female driver with an old car that was over heating. I went to two other shops before finding David and the team at Bridgestone that wanted to charge an arm and a leg to have a hose replaced. The Bridgestone team was quick and affordable. They even drove me to work! I have since had my tires changed for a fair price and my car is running better than ever. If you want an honest affordable mechanic this is the place! Thanks guys!

Reasonable place to get new tyres. BUT I would not recommend them for any other service work on your car - poor customer service. Never called when they said they would - happened multiple times.

Super friendly staff, top grade work and very informative with any diagnosis and/or solutions for any vehicle problem. Would highly recommend and will bring all my vehicles and future vehicles here for servicing and maintenance.

The staff went out of their way (They drove to Altona to pick up the tyre I needed) to help me get back on the road after a rear tyre lost its tread.
