Brick Lane Melbourne reviews
83Very cute cafe with incredibly friendly staff, great service and excellent food! Highly recommended.
Salmon Benedict is delicious!
Nestled in the most beautiful laneway in the Melbourne CBD is this great cafe. Friendly staff, and delicious food. Wouldn't definitely recommend.
Had a family breakfast here after staying in Melbourne for a night. Staff were amazing, Great coffee and food. Highly recommended.
Glad we found this little gem tucked away for the family to have lunch.
Excellent service and great quick bite and coffee.
Recommend!
Been there a few times now and their veggie sandwich with artichokes is amazing. They gave me the wrong order once but made it up to me by giving me a very nice almond croissant:)
Amazing cafe at this cute little bony street in the middle of tall glass buildings this one street has this old time charm. The food and the coffee is out of this world and you must try their tea collection.
What a lovely little cafe. Great service and the food came quickly and was excellent. I will definitely come back.
Amazing place for breakfast! Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and extremely delicious food! Highly recommended:)
15 minute wait to get in which is fine but then the people who came in after us got served first and received their food before we even got served and then we finally were able to order and another couple who came in like 15 minutes after us still got their food first. My food was fine. Girlfriend didn’t like hers.
Food 5/5
Service 5/5
Charm and atmosphere 5/5
Coffee 5/5
And one of my favourite Melbourne laneways!
Nothing more to be said! Highly recommended.
Questionable service from the wait staff. Barista may be on island time, a good 30 minute wait on the coffee even though we ordered those straight away. In hindsight, we should've ordered these 30 mins before we arrived. Also, about 25 minutes chill time after being seated before being served, lovely if you aren't hungry
A very cute cafe in one of my favourite laneways! They always have great service. Good food and good coffee too!
Am actually sitting in the cafe writing this review!
LOVED the chilli scrambled eggs. Perfect blend of cheese & the addition of bacon bits is absolute genius! Unfortunately the coffee was slightly burnt but not terrible. I’ve had coffee here before & it was great so I think I got a bad pour!
Also added halloumi & mushrooms as sides. Service was great & food came out real quick! So many wins!
Absolutely loved this place! Service was fantastic, fast and attentive and most importantly the food and coffee was 5 star. Highly recommend
Great little Cafe nestled in a typical Melbourne lane way. All the food we saw come out looked very well presented. We ordered the chilli corn waffles and it was delicious. Coffee was also really good, which is a must for any Cafe that wants to do well and become popular.
Not Worth It:
Poor effort. We rang from Crown to make sure we could get a table and spoke to the owner, all was good.
20 mins tram & walk to work up a hunger but no table, 20 minute wait. How rude
So we walked down the hill a little and on the left was Krimper, don’t blink or you’ll miss it. Very friendly staff, nice and open inside, a great place from brunch. Check my post on Krimper’s page.
Egg Benedict with pulled pork is amazing.the pumpkin sourdough and poached eggs are delicious. Coffee is average. Didn’t wait for too long on Saturday noon. Will come back to try more.
Delicious food and absolutely amazing people! Worth paying a visit if you are looking for a great breakfast or brunch!
Our favorite café in Melbourne! Visiting the city, we found ourselves going back to there every day. For vegetarians, I highly recommend the Mixed Mushroom Medley which comes with a fantastic pesto, though everything else from the menu is also delightful. They have gluten-free and vegan options. Fantastic coffee and teas. Service is fast - everything is prepared quickly, and there staff are incredibly nice.
(Please open Brick Lane cafés around there world soon!)
