Brick Lane Melbourne reviews
83Third time visiting, never disappoints! Best coffee and food in a beautiful Melbourne laneway. Staff very friendly
Brick Lane Cafe exceeded my expectations. The vibe is fantastic, and the food is simply delicious. A must-visit spot!
I chose the special breakfast
The taste is really on the salty side as others have said.
Especially bacon
Moreover, the oil fume in the store is quite heavy, and the smell comes out everywhere.
But the store has a great atmosphere
The alley outside is also very good for taking pictures.
Waited more than 30 minutes for our food, after seeing tables that arrived after us receiving their food - I asked a waitstaff to check on our order to which I was told that there was a "printer issue". We were asked to move tables in order to accommodate for a larger group waiting outside. When we received our food, the omelette I had was very sweet and not enjoyable. I was asked whether I had finished eating my food even though I was still eating. The bill was printed and placed on the table, asking us to move along. Not only that, there was no offer to compensate for the orders that were forgotten. Overall, it wasn't a nice experience dining here and I would not return.
Lovely food! And very cozy atmosphere inside. Staffs are very friendly, cheerful. Love the place, coffee is also good!
Well sorry that, but I just wanted to say I would never come again quite disappointed…. The sourdough is hard as rock and is this a poached egg should looks like?
I recommend Corn Chili Waffle, a place with a friendly atmosphere and lots of people. It was delicious and the eggs Benedict was also good! I was a little disappointed that the coffee was more ordinary than I expected, but I still recommend it for brunch. The staff is friendly.
Incredible breakfast/brunch place in Melbourne! Cool vibes and great menu. They had gluten free options, including gluten free toasties as they had their own dedicated toaster. LOVED the chipotle chicken toastie and dairy free potato salad.
Had the wholemeal waffle - oh my gosh so yum! Loved the decor of the cafe and lovely coffee.
Excellent place for a work or leisure lunch. Lots of vegan options and they cater for other dietary requirements also.
I highly recommend the Breakfast Salad and Chilli Scramble. Worth the wait if they don't have any tables free.
Great brunch spot with a buzzing atmosphere on the weekends. The Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict is a must-try (to my delight, I definitely underestimated the portion). Was a warm Melbourne day, so ordered an iced chai latte, however wasn't as aromatic as other cafes. Brick Lane doesn't take bookings on weekends, so you could almost always expect a queue from 11am-1pm.
Placed in a lively neighbourhood. Serving quality menu. And very welcoming staff. Just brilliant!
5 stars for the service! No questions asked.
I personally didn't enjoy the food. I ordered a pumpkin sandwich and the flavour is so plain. The side dish - the classic smashed potatoes tasted even better. On the other side, good coffee.
The way they arrange tables is awkard and that makes me feel so uncomfy.
Long waiting line.
Loved it.simple yet extravagant menu, speedy meals and great service. What more do you need?
Brick Lane unfortunately did not meet up to expectations compared to my previous trip in winter. Starting from the coffee, cappuccino was weak and bland! Was very surprised especially in Melbourne coffee culture scene! My chicken salad was bland. The chicken tenderloin was hard and tasteless, salad has no flavour despite the dressing. The lamb salad was slightly better but still far from what we typically get from most places where food were more flavoured and tasty. It was a huge disappointment compare to my previous experience: (don’t know it’s due to being a busy season or the magic formula no longer exist!
Amazing food & the servers are all so lovely, especially Kiralee, she made our dining experience very pleasurable
Cheery, comfortable and busy. Great atmosphere.
Friendly, prompt service.
Great coffee and food, I had the chilli scrambled eggs.
Great breakfast. Cool place for a morning bite. Loved the smashed avo on toast. Quite busy in the morning, This was the only restaurant in Melbourne which we visited and which did not have hard copy menus. After logging into WIFI we ordered succesfully.friendly staff!
Best breakfast in Melbourne I got the southern chicken sandwich which was full of flavour the juicy lettuce and the fantastic sauce definitely recommended coming here
