Brazilica - The Art of Waxing

Highly recommend going to Lissette! She took amazing care of me and is some kind of magic woman because nothing was painful (even though it should have been). Will definitely be back to see her again.

Wow! I just got waxed by Tash at the Smith St location and I cant believe how QUICK but thorough she was! She did a great job I definitely recommend coming here to get waxed!

My appointment was 50 minutes late- without apology. They didn’t ask for follow up or take very good care of client interaction. It’s a shame, that even with a facelift the Collingwood salon still has a very unprofessional feel. Definitely have reconsidered this being my go-to

This is the only place in Melbourne where I can fully feel relaxed and just leave the experts to shape my eyebrows. They're very professional and the attention to detail is what you should go after when it comes to the frame of your face.

For the price, not worth it. I got the full xxxx, and they seemed to be grossed out and unprofessional for the most part like if they have never done this in their life. I’m sorry you work in a waxing salon? I paid extra money to go to a place that specialises in this so they didn’t do exactly this. I wish I could get my money back. But oh well. For the most part the one who serviced me was somewhat friendly.

About as pleasant as a wax sesh gets. Let’s not kid ourselves. It’s never a pleasure. Rarely delightful.occasionally it’s bearable. Well here it’s been more bearable and delightful than any of the many other venues I’ve been to including large chains. The staff don’t change. They don’t make untoward remarks about.anything.they just GET. THE. JOB. DONE. After being scalded, scolded, wrenched and ripped off before.none of that happens here. Which is why I always shower a moment before because.respect to these ladies who respect all the pink bits that walk in.

I love the service and the staff make me feel super comfortable. Tash is my beauty therapist and I love how she does my eyebrows! My intimate waxing is painless and it’s so relaxing to find someone to do it with professionalism and courtesy.

I've been going here for waxing for 5+ years. Most times the staff are really nice, respectful and thorough. On occasion I've had someone who isn't 100% thorough and/or leaves wax on me or my clothes. I've never been burnt or offended by the staff. I do love booking online and how efficient they are without feeling rushed. Will definitely keep going here!

Had a wax three days ago, and I’m still waiting for the burns on bikini line to go away. I had had previously good experiences at Brazilica, but the other reviewers are correct, there are new staff each time I go. The person who did my last wax seemed quite inexperienced, and I was not paying for a training wax. I got a wax for my weekend at the beach, and will now be sporting a super sexy burn either side of my swimsuit. Cool cool.

I had difficulty communicating with employees, as neither had good English skills and the person on the desk took a number of phone calls while I was making my appointment. The wax was good, though.

Great waxing studio! They're always quick but not rushed, and very thorough with waxing. And no sticky legs or leftover wax afterwards. Steph if fantastic for brows, and she's super friendly!

I don't usually make a fuss of things, but I am so surprised at my experience here! I don't get a wax that often, it's a unique and special treat usually, I often don't like going to new places because it's not cheap and I'm worried about getting a good experience.

I checked this website, it looked nice and good-value and I went in and there was a very nice woman at the reception who booked me in for a later appointment. I was like hmm it's a little more expensive but if the customer service is really good then it's worth it, right? I asked about student discounts and she politely told me no, and that's fine because I understand overheads, small business, etc.

Anyway, went in at the designated time and was given a different woman to do my wax. To cut it short, I left the salon feeling dissatisfied, offended and hideous. When I asked about the extent of the 'x brazilian', she glared at me and snapped "that's standard" (although on their website they say they take an extra bit off), left wax on my clothes and was so slapdash that as I left I still had wax on my skin. Not to mention when she saw an ingrown hair she looked at me as if I hadn't showered in 6 weeks (how was I supposed to know it was there?) I understand that everyone has bad days, but please don't come into work if you're going make a customer feel like an inconvenience, especially in an industry that aims to make women (and men) feel special and beautiful.

It leaves a vile taste in the mouth and I couldn't in good faith recommend this as a place to get a wax.

Fast efficient service by friendly staff. After 7 years of coming here I have never had an issue.

My go to waxing place! I’ve had waxed done by quite a few different people there but nothing compared to the job that Sharmi does every time! She’s really thorough and I never come out disappointed for Brazilian or leg waxing. Clean salon and friendly staff!

The girls here are great! Sharmi did an excellent job with my brazilian and was lovely to talk with. Steph was very knowledgeble about brows and my brow wax and tint looks perfect. I will definitely be coming back here on the regular.

Sharmi is one of the best beauty therapists (waxing) I have experienced in Melbourne - she is thorough, takes a lot of pride in her work, and does a really complete job. Worth travelling across Melbourne for!

I've just had my first ever brow wax with Steph and she was fantastic. She understood what I wanted and gave me some great advice on how to maintain them. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
