Great lunch menu for a quick easy bite. Food was tasty, staff were friendly, environment was welcoming.
Disappointing. Went for Friday lunch - the service was horrendously slow and food wasn’t brought out at the same time. By the time I actually got to eat my meal when the rest of the table had theirs, mine was cold. Served by a blonde waitress who gave the impression that basic requests for glasses and water were unreasonable. Requested a jug of coke which she confirmed they had, was then given a jug of Pepsi. Refused to resolve the issue. For some, Pepsi and coke ARE NOT THE SAME THING. The food itself wasn’t worth the price charged - I ordered the mixed grill but swapped the chips for salad. The gravy was revolting, floury and inedible. When I went to pay for it, they tried to charge me for both chips and salad, even though I had swapped it. The risotto was disappointing and lacking flavour, the buffalo wings just a pile of grace and flour. For pub food, not worth it.
