A world-class Botanical garden in Melbourne! You must visit to appreciate all their surroundings including lakes, ferry boats, picnic lawns, everything you can imagine! Oh! The moment I'm entering the entrance, I felt a splash of energy from the freshest oxygen among the forest trees! The refreshments and food from the Tea House are fresh and high quality! I'll return again!

This place is absolutely beautiful. What a beautiful day for a walk here. This is a must see.beautiful nature, great coffee/snack shop. Grest way to be outside and enjoy the beauty. These pictures don't do it justice. I was too busy enjoying and barely took any pics so I must go back.

This fabulous gift shop stocks a broad range of high quality botanical products from soaps and body scrubs to essential oils and fine ceramics. Perfect for valentines day or mothers day, the botanical gardens visitor centre is worth checking out when looking for something special.

This was the favourite part of my visit to Melbourne. The impressionists like Van Gogh and Monet would be going gaga. They all had their signature painting, Van Gogh was sunflowers while Monet was water lilies, and their challenge to anyone else was go ahead try beat that.

Beautiful and relaxing space. Perfect for a walk or picnic under one of the amazing trees. Parking can get tricky around noon on weekends.

I went on the Aborginal Heritage Walk with Den. I highly recommend it. He was such a warm, friendly, knowledgeable and funny character. Look forward to coming back to see my new friend.

Well maintained garden although you rarely see anyone working on it - this is a compliment. Very well managed and its maintenance does not get in the way of people enjoying it.

Beautiful gardens with a range of flora. The gardens have something for everyone. Beautifully shaded walkways, stunningly beautiful, some truly rare flowers, giant trees some truly old, a children's garden, a herbarium. Ask at the visitor centre for the free guided tour. They are conducted by knowledgeable volunteer guides, whose passion and commitment makes for a fascinating hour.
