Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre reviews
36Beautiful destination, it’s not just the scenic gardens and beautiful plantings, there’s a really good energy there. Recently went to see Lightscape which i feel was magic and an amazing way to see the gardens at night.
Beautiful Creatures of Nature. I never seen before. I love it. Very nice place for walking, breathing and everything
It’s a beautiful place for work, we attended a Melbourne latin festival and it was so much fun; music, tasty food and happy people dancing, we had a great time
Very helpful staff, tours are highly recommended, reasonably priced and wonderfully insightful. Suggest arriving early for best parking options or take a tram.
Beautiful garden with a lot of history. Had a good 3 hour walking tour here. Was fortunate to have Carole as my guide - she’s so passionate and knowledgeable. Learnt so much during my visit here! I’m sure there’s a lot more to discover - would probably take me days to explore this garden properly.
Very beautiful gardens easily accessible using the metro or trams. Huge variety of plants, trees and birds. Spent a very enjoyable morning here.
The tour I went on was particularly informative and I appreciated learning about different plants, history and the Aboriginal culture. The tour guide presented as approachable and open to questions and points of view. We covered various parts of the Royal Botanic Gardens on the Walk.
Really enjoyed the tour, great place for a picnic. Plenty of privacy and views if you wish. The different areas of the garden are sure to delight, will go back again.
Brilliant staff and a really looked after garden. I'm looking forward to seeing new programs and more displays
How could you fault the botanical gardens.you can't. Always beautiful no matter what season. Transports you to a different place each time we go. Love the children's garden and walking aimlessly through the paths whatever way you go you will never be disappointed.
Always a joy to walk in the worlds best botanical garden.would be nice if more plants were labeled.but it doesn't effect the pleasure of being there
Botanical gardens is a place of great relaxation, but on this day given the limited options we have during this lockdown there were so many people there it had unfortunately lost all that magical, cocooned like calmness into a frantic busy place. But still as beautiful as ever on a perfect sunny Sunday.
Love this place, shout out to the cooks at the Tea Rooms, Thankyou for your beautiful Strawberry jam and cream scones, Perfect.
This was not a case of not liking the venue.
Please just note that they are not currently open at the moment - so we could not hire a device to see the augmented reality exhibition.
Cranbourne Botanical gardens are fantastic. The guide was so knowledgeable. I hope to go in another season so I can compare with winter.
Botanic Gardens are real beauty of Melbourne. You will feel so calm in this huge garden. So many old trees. Children park is also best creativity of these gardens.
Went and visited the gift shop; staff were friendly, and they had a lot of Australian wildlife themed souvenirs for sale. Scored some nice postcards!
It’s wonderful experience with my family lots of beautiful flowers and trees. It’s picnic place too and lots of place to explore with nature.
World class Gold standard example of all things botanical. Great cafe by the lake & one at the main entrance. Good shop inside main entrance with books, posters, postcards etc.
The actual collection of trees and flora is comprehensive; my favourite being the The Bamboo Garden. Superb lawns, lake and vistas. Easy access.
