Boroka Lookout reviews
42Loved it worth the adventures drive up, 1,100 ft above sea level and wheel chair friendly, strong refreshing winds the day we went.and there is a long drop toilet. Definitely worth photo's
Great views and a drive worthwhile from the bottom of the mountain. Great for photos and to bring your kids
One of the easier accessible attraction in the Grampians.around a minute walk from the carpark and you're there at the viewing platforms. There are two platforms, both give you a panoramic view of the whole area. Simply breathtaking!
Although people jumping the fence doesn't know that if they fall it's a 50m drop to a 5m wide ledge
Another place of must visit when you're on your Grampians trip! Theres parking nearby and less than few mins walk from the carpark to the lookout point. Boroka lookout is especially suitable for elderlies/people with limited mobility.
Nice drive to this lookout, very short walk from car to viewing location.spectacular views of the Grampians.
Really nice view. Was caught in a hailstorm after we took this picture. The experience is amazing! Must see with your own eyes!
A nice drive to get there, it has changed so much over the years since I was last there. The view will never change, the greener the plains the more fulfilling the experience. The car park being upgraded with loo's is great, not to mention new railing around the danger area's.
The most often suggested lookout to watch the sunrise from the Grampians. Try to get there early and get a good spot, because there can often be a number of people visiting. Don't be tempted (even if you see others) to cross the safety barriers - especially with children - since accidents and injuries have happened in the past.
Oh My Gosh! An amazing place. Has to be seen to be believed. We stayed at Halls Gap for a couple of days on our way from SA to QLD. The Baroka Lookout has spectacular views. It is breathtakingly beautiful! If you haven't been definitely go because you will not be disappointed.
There are 2 cliffside viewing platforms. We saw a few people climb over rocks and sit on the suspended ledge to get their photo taken - not sure if this is allowed because I think it's something like a 15km drop!
I also love the road "MT DIFFICULT ROAD"
Stunning view! Best view we saw in the park along with Reeds lookout. Higher than The Pinacle and no walking required. Well worth the short detour. 3 viewing platforms in the carpark to take it all in. Take a jacket it's brisk!
If you're lucky you might be able to get to the edge and back without someone asking you to take a picture of their family but regardless the feeling you get holding a stranger's phone makes me tingly-wingly *<: o)
Wooooow! Soooh amazing! My eyes were not able to grasp and get saturated by the magnificent stunning view! The Grampians and especially this lookout is so amazing to check out! It was conveniently possible to simply drive there, which makes the Grampians a great spot for a one day exploration! Highly recommended, splendid!
A great place to go if you want a beautiful view without the effort of a hike. The drive up is lovely and scenic as well!
We were warned by a local that a lot of these lookouts can be quite busy on the weekend. However the Boroka Lookout had only a few people there on a Saturday. The views here are absolutely astonishing though. It was well worth the drive from Horsham.
Great place to watch the sunset! When I went the sun was hitting the opposite side but still gave us amazing colours to enjoy.
Superb views! Didn't see any signage when starting the drive up Mt Difficult Rd but there will be when you get nearer to the turnoff. Since it's just off the carpark, it's easy enough for elders or toddlers. Enjoyable.
I was pleasantly surprised by this lookout, it's worth going to, the veiw was great, the viewing platforms were great. It was a bit concerning seeing lots of tourists ignoring the signs and jumping over the railings to get photos of themselves on the cliff edge.
Absolutely stunning place! After a walk, you can stand and sit there on the edge of the world. See the pictures to see how it feels like.
Spectacular views from boroka lookout down the valley to halls Gap and across the plains. Definitely worth the trip. There is plenty of parking in the car park and it's only a minute walk to the lookout.
