Best fish n chips in this area. The prices are reasonable and I was highly impressed by the excellent customer service despite it was so busy.

Food was great, and customer service was quite good.
But why close at 8: 30PM? I'd come back if they were open after that since I work on the way there (I work late sometimes, and I also work in restaurants), so even if they were open until 10PM would be a great help. Would be good for business to be honest. -2 stars because they close super early.

Crazy busy on a Friday night, couldn't get through on the phone to order. Just had potato cakes & dim sims. Dimmies were excellent, nice and crisp and ordered 2 potato cakes but they gave me 3 not the best I've ever had but still good. Will have to try their fish or burger next time.

We order weekly dinner for 2, it’s fresh and happy with selection of fish, calamari, chips that is in the pack, keep cooking guys!

First time ordering since under new management. The Fried Flake was terrible. Thick fillet, not cooked through with thick oily batter. Other items ordered were also disappointing. Wish there was something positive to report.

Potato cakes very oily, chips tasted like they were cooked in old oil, however nice staff and there was plenty for what u pay for. Great that it's next to iga.

I really miss the old owners - the fish is filleted so finely it’s 75% batter thick. The batter is thick and doughey and it doesn’t taste like it’s freshly battered and cooked - it tastes like it was precooked then recooked.
The best part was being able return my overcooked chips and have them replaced without a hassle.

Ordered a couple of lunch packs during April 2020 - yes still open and selling fresh tasting fish n chips!

The service was amazing! Had fish and chips there last Saturday night with friends and it was absolutely spot on! Amazing local fish ship definitely recommend! A hidden gem

Best fish & chip shop around. Best chips hands down. Best employees. I pretty much cry when they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. Get around this people! A Murrumbeena institution!

Went to Blue Sea Fish and Chips tonight for dinner for me and my family of 4 and had amazing Fish and Burgers. The potato cakes are handmade and everything was just awesome! If i could rate more than 5 stars I would.

Great fish and chips, excellent potato cakes, not overpriced. Reasonably fast. Much better than the place in Hughesdale and much less busy than the place in Oakleigh

Most reliable fish and chippery that I've been to. High quality and quick service is what sets it apart from others. Would highly recommend.

Can't believe they use Basa as flake, and jesus your barramundi taste like sawdust, don't go to this nasty place, so disrespectful.
Really, Basa as flake, what a joke, why don't you go back to primary school to learn some fish from the pictures?
If you really have to do that, can't you make it less vomitable?

Very good quality 'traditional' Aussie fish n chip shop. Chips are perfect everytime, coming out of obviously regularly changed oil.

The fish, chips & potato cakes are super delicious, I'd recommend blue sea fish and chips to anyone & everyone. Best quality food

Thanks to the amazing team at Blue Sea Fish and Chips, i come here as much for the potato cakes as i do the staff, super friendly and they always make me smile and fill me up after Sunday morning cycle

If I could give less than 1 star, I Would! We had come for lunch and I had left my wallet on the table under some napkins. There were two guys working that day and the owner was not in. I had phoned them to let them know I was coming back in to pick it up. Once I had arrived I was shocked that $500 was missing from my wallet. When I approached them to ask about the stolen money they both looked smug, smiled at one another and said "I don't know where it is, maybe in the rubbish bin" I had given them several opportunities to FIND the money.informing them that there would be no hard feelings or judgements, as people can make mistakes.but they did not want to cooperate. I will never go back to BLUE SEA FISH & CHIP MURRUMBEENA as they are dishonest and I will spread the word about this business as much as I possibly can on social media and reviews.

Had blue sea twice, first time was a good experience - but second occasion the chips hadn't been drained at all. Yes Friday night a probably busy, but soggy chips are soggy chips
