Blue Sea Fish & Chips Take Away

Been going here for ages now, but with the newer owners they have really stepped up their stuff, really good food that you can tell they actually put effort into.haven't had a bad experience since the switch of new owners

Best fish & chip shop around. Best chips hands down. Best employees. I pretty much cry when they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. Get around them people! A Murrumbeena institution!

Value-for-money seafood with friendly owners. Tasted good and the portions were huge, enough for two to share. They give a lot of chips/fries!

Best fish n chips I've had in Melbourne. Always consistently great.fish is always extremely fresh and perfectly cooked.

Ordered a single pack over the Easter break and was pleasantly surprised at how big the portions were and it was delicious. Such a friendly welcoming place. I will definitely order again. Great service and very tasty food.

I have ordered here a couple of times in the last month.
I avoided this place in the past with the previous owners, but much prefer it now.
The chips are crispy, the grilled fish is spot on and the customer service is much better, well done and thank you!

The burgers here are really good. There is quite the range of burgers to pick from, although the chips are not the best

It's great that these shops are still open. McDonald's, in response to Chris's comments, have dropped quality standards horrendously. Do you know they cook the beef patties and leave them in warming drawers for up to 2 hours? They have refused to cook me fresh meat () on the grill when I asked. Fish and chip shops are such a part of Australia. The variety. Once all Greek. Now, mostly Asian. As long as there are deep fried scallops and shark and steak sandwiches and souvlakis.happy days.

The cooks definitely know what they’re doing. They wouldn’t dare put on a GF fish when there’s no room.

Absolutely a joke the extremely long wait for food. I don't have an issue with waiting if I am told there's a wait. Every customer in there tonight was annoyed big time. The cooks have no idea.

Ordered chips and a potato cake with excellent service from a young man named James. I asked for his name as I received such wonderful customer service. We had a lovely chat and I would really recommend this takeaway restaurant

If you like your fish super-fresh, moist and cooked in a perfect batter that is like a great tempura.you will visit this fish and chippery over and over, as I have, and receive the best quality every time without fail. No over-used oil, under or over cooked anything. I'm so glad to have found it!

This store takes almost no responsibility for their own mistakes. Hamburger taste like they were made with sausage roll mince, oil is dirty and they really can not cook food competently. Prices, bad for the quality.

The food here was so good, I'm not sure if it was because I was so hungry. It's not my local, but I will be going back, bets souvlaki I've had in a while! FYI - I rarely give 5 stars.

STAY AWAY - I did an order via Menulog, and it was noted as delivered but the driver never turned up as evidenced by my security camera footage. Tried ringing Blue Sea multiple times but they did not answer (despite still being open), and Menulog phones are down and not taking phone calls from customers. I appreciate that you don't have direct control over poor quality delivery drivers via Menulog/Uber, but you need to use a different delivery option - or at least answer your phones or have a message service if you are busy.
Will reverse the credit card transaction with my Bank as you took money for a delivery never made - you can argue the finer details (re: theft / obtaining financial advantage by deception / incompetence) with Menulog yourselves. Too bad, as your fish & chips were previously OK, and I was a repeat customer; but you have been burnt again by your chosen delivery service.

I work for a local aged care and I placed a very big order with this shop. They did a wonderful job. Great customer service. The food tasted so beautiful and the residents and staff loved it. We will definately buy here again.

Lovely hot fish and chips on a bitterly cold Melbourne day. Cleanliness and great service at a reasonable price.

I've just moved into the area and this place does the best fish and chips it reminds me of when I was a little kid:) I also love that there open on a Sunday, thanks guys for the beautiful food:)
