Blackman's Brewery Bar and Restaurant reviews
75Poor service. It must have been that loud that the waiter didn't hear me mention that I wanted fish and chips soooo.instead gave me a serve of pork and a small side of vegetables! The fish and chips was good when it finally came out.but again when it did, it was service with a frown. Oh well! That one's ticked off the list!
Table service and the serving of food was quick. Food portion was big to the point I couldn’t eat it all. I tried the Wit beer and it was nice. Highly recommend that you try.
If you love your craft beers then this is the place to go! Amazing beers, great food and awesome staff!
Good beer, food very average and expensive, disgusting toilets and sticky tables. Buy some takeaway cans and head to the beach instead.
Delicious food in a very relaxed environment. I'd definitely recommend making a reservation if you plan on eating there during rush hour.
Poor service but good pizza and beer: I had to remind the waiter of our pizza. They delivered one of our pizzas to a wrong table. At the end we had to eat the pizzas one after each other.
Manager said he’s sorry but didn’t propose any proactive compensation
I couldn’t believe that I had this perfect quality of food in a brewery! Wood fire pizza, fish, prawns and salad’s ingredients are super fresh and selectively grabbed!
Unbelievable beers and great staff! The flight/paddle of beer is great so you can try a couple as there are so many good options and delish flavours.
The craft beer flavours are great, pizza wasn't the best iv eaten before just tasted very cluggy and wet with the sauce one side felt overcooked and burnt while other side felt pale and barley crispy (flavours are nice but such as the mozzarella and polomodo base), dessert was great the almond tart very tasty and balanced and quite a good size.
Thanks heaps
Most disappointing meal.
Expected more than a few pieces of salad drowned in oil for $20.
We told the waitress, however her response was, 'oh sorry it's a new menu. '
Will not return or recommend.
Great beer, but out of three meals, mine arrived almost forty minutes after the other two. It was a Porchetta pizza that was really oily and had no flavour. If it wasn't for the beer I probably wouldn't go back. Sorry guys.
What a great little spot. The food and beer selection is awesome and love that brewery vibe too. Being able to have a few beers and then buy a six pack of your fav beer from the meal is awesome. The service is super friendly and the servicing sizes are quite generous. My only complaint, it was shut on ANZAC day, was really hoping to have sat back with a few mates on the day to reminisce. Maybe next year
Chicken wings were average, pork salad with pancakes were horrible. Beer was great all in all average especially for the price.
Fantastic range of true to style and innovative one off special beers served in a true brewery taproom setting. Such a great spot to wash the salt off your lips after a day in the sun and surf at Torquay!
A bit pricey, but the pizza was good and inventive. I had a brisket and cream & chive? Pizza, which had a nice crispy crust, and tried the Reginald IPA and was delighted with the zest and full round hearty aroma. Would have been good to come here in a group.
