Black Seed Cafe reviews
51 Do yourself a favour & eat here! I had the Super Spinach Pancake special. It is impossible to describe the taste sensation this was. So many different flavours, complementing each other to produce a dish that I'm hoping to have again & again.
My eldest daughter had the Moroccan Eggs, & this was again, full of flavour. The youngest went for the chicken boa. Three small boas with a generous serving of fries.
All of the food was great. Staff were attentive, friendly & knowledgeable about the different dishes.
Truly loved this Cafe, & would have to say it rates up there with the best we have been to.
Very nice place and food. Loved their breakfast menu.
Customer service is also exceptional here.
Celebrated my anniversary here, the staff is extremely nice and foods has nothing but delicious. Being coming here for a while love the consistency of food taste.
Didn't eat there, but if their coffee is anything to go by, then I'm sure it'd be great. I got introduced to Dirty Chai in QLD, and since moving to Vic, I'd only found one place that did a decent one.that changed to 2 when I ordered from Black Seed Cafe. Add to that, the friendly young ladies that made mine and my wife's coffee and the cheerful young bloke that took our order and they've got a great little Cafe.
Keep up the great work guys.
Terrible dining experience. Ordered burger and it was tasteless, my friend’s big breakfast food tasted very salty. I think they might have changed the chefs, everything tasted different from when I used to go. Bad service too, the ladies were unapproachable, did not want to come to order until I found them to. Overall not recommended.
Had breakfast here with my family 2 days ago and I ordered eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Ended up with really horrible horrible food poisoning
Been here a few times and it used to be awesome, however this last trip was alright. The food is still pretty good, however the service was kind of slow. Still a decent place to go for the late morning breakfast.
Came with my brother, food was scrumptious! Had the big brekkie (poached eggs, sourdough bread, beef rashers, salad? , hash brown, and I think sausage. Food was amazing. Hash brown was the highlight. The touch of lemon really put it up to 11/10.
Scrumptious halal food. Definitely coming back soon.
Bit overpriced and smaller portions that I didn't expect. Can't blame them though, inflation has been quite high recently:/
Beautiful little place in our neighbourhood where I can go and always get a smiling face greeting, and same great food.
First timer, I had been planning a visit for a while knowing this is a rare halal cafe gem close to home. It’s a small cafe and it gets busy, very popular for their coffee. I liked the simplicity of their menu yet it had variety and depth and nice combinations. We ordered the pulled lamb, the sliced mushroom and I went for poached eggs on sourdough with smoked salmon with hollandaise sauce. All their items rocked, but the pulled lamb was a clear winner, definitely recommended. We all weren’t disappointed and left content, surely one to come back to. Coffee was amazing too
Love this place. Food is always good and nicely presented. Lovely place for breakfast. Also it’s 100% halal
Absolutely lovely staff and food. Their Moroccan baked eggs, Turkish eggs and coffee is soo good.
It’s my go to place every week for breakfast
Owner is nice too
Went to this cafe this morning I felt unwelcome by the owner they don’t like colour people as they asked me to change table so other couples can site. To the owner don’t do that next time & the name of your cafe should be changed.
The food, coffee and staff are all fantastic! This is our favorite place to come! Cant recommend enough
Staff were friendly and accommodating the food and coffee were very nice. Would go there again when we're back in the area.
The breakfast there was delicious it was my husband and I first time eating here and we loved it. Definitely recommend this place.
Very friendly staff and although I only ordered a banana bread it was delicious. Only downside is that my support worker didn't get her drink until we were don't with our food.
Great and best halal breakfast option in west side of Melbourne. Easily accessible and plenty of parking. Unique menu, friendly staff and quick service. Can be a lot busy over the weekend. We love every single bite, kids love their menu as well.
Atmosphere was cute.went in for a coffee.worst coffee ever.paid 7$ for it to taste horrid but it was creamy which was nice
WOW. Those fritters: the flavour balance was on point! Everything from the sauce to the garnish was well executed and came together perfectly on that plate. Very excited to find this café by chance. They have an ever-changing hotcake menu and great coffee, too. Highly recommended.
