Bistro Morgan

The doughnuts and coffee where both incredible. So far we have visited 6 of Melbourne doughnut venues and bistro is in the lead.

Morgan was good man, service with smile should have asked autograph and free book 2 sell on eBay.when he takes over Krispy creme and becomes lord of pastries it may be worth lot of money. 5 star.

I have heard that this place was good. We spent so much money on donuts and they were disgusting. I usually like sugar, but it tasted too sweet and fake. I usually love the flavours I brought but these flavours do not taste anything like the name.

My friend and I visited here before our second trip because the cookies were excellent, so we decided to come back, and we will not be returning! There were so many flies on the doughnuts and cookies. At the very least, cover the food. This time, I wanted to buy cookies for my family, but just seeing the flies flying around and touching the cookies made me feel disgusted.

My friend purchased 6 doughnuts from here, we were really excited after seeing rave reviews however were very disappointed. We’re usually good with sweet food but these were way to sweet for our liking, you could literally feel the sugar granules inside the frosting. The filling was way too heavy and dense. The scroll was too much bread and the Nutella frosting was very bland. The golden gaytime did not taste anything like golden gaytime & the chocolate was so hardened I couldn’t even cut into properly. Really disappointed, had a few bites and threw the rest of the box in the bin. Will not be coming back.

Most cookies these days are just loaded with sugar. But these cookies were absolutely delicious. The perfect balance of flavour and sweetness.

Really really… Average. Sloppy and unappealing appearance. Jam doughnuts had way too much jam. Cookie Monster was disgusting. Quality has seriously dropped. Please do not offer your email address simply for show if you do not wish to reply.

Delicious fresh donuts. Popped in for the creme brûlée donut and the glazed and confused. Both nice and fresh. I loved how full the creme brûlée donut was filled with custard. I would say id prefer a little more vanilla in the custard as it was a little lacking in flavour. Overall though, very enjoyable. Cookies look delicious, will have to try next time.

This place. SELLS. Gotta be quick for your tasty snack here. Was pleased to find out from chef Morgan themself most can be made fresh if you can wait 10mins

Was given a talk a couple years back at my school from the owner and remembered about it a couple days back so I went to go check it out and it was so good the donuts easily the best donuts in melbourne

Drove from flemington for these donuts. Was worth every second in bumper to bumper traffic. Thank goodness I don't live closer, would be here every day otherwise- and that's not good for the waistline. Highly recommend

Great hot chocolate
Made with real cocoa, I have a sweet tooth and the doughnuts are brilliant.
Friendly staff, always important as far as I’m concerned, always almost as important than the product itself.

Second time ordering from here. Food is really good but the service is terrible. First order was a completely wrong order but had my name on it. Thought I would order again because the food is great and I thought "what are the chances they'll mess up again? " Turns out highly likely. This time they forgot an item. I won't bother ordering anything again, not worth it. Even if the food is good.

Update:
Someone from bistro Morgan was in touch and explained that they are having an issue with their new systems. They apologised and were even kind enough to send out another order and even added an extra doughnut! They went out of their way to make up for the issue and it was unexpected and appreciated. Thank you, bistro Morgan!

Well worth the travel. Beats anything on the market. The donuts are super heavy with the inside filled with oozy goodness like no other donuts ever tried before.

Oh yeah, the famous Morgan donuts.introduced by a friend so here we go.they have so much flavour to choose from, creme brûlée was so good, i would say the sweetness are perfect.a little bit crunch on the top.the bruno mars was a little bit too much, the filling is caramel which feel like too thick.the flavour was so good.yum~

Insanely good. My favourite, although not pictured is the chocolate chip cookie heated up. However, the cookie is closely followed by the cinnamon scroll. Highly recommend.

The MOST delicious doughnuts I have EVER eaten. Wow. Just wow. The creme brûlée doughnut is my absolute favourite, with actual creme brûlée filling and that delicious caramelised sugar crust, followed closely by the ‘cookie me crazy’ (with the lotus biscuit on top) - I could eat whole jars of that cookie filling. Thank you Morgan!

The donuts are absolutely divine & the coffee is ok (not the best coffee in Mel, but not the worst either)
