Bistro Elba

We had a lovely meal at Bistro Elba. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The highlight was the local Flinders mussels, which were in a wonderful green sauce and complete with several pea crabs (which the waiter told us all about). Delicious and a great experience

The wife and I were on holidays and decided to take a drive to the Mornington Peninsula, we arrived at Sorrento and decided to have lunch at this Bistro, from the time we walked in the atmosphere was great and the gentleman who took us to our table was very friendly, we decided to order and was greeted by a very friendly lady called Michella she really took her time with us and guided us with what to have, we had an excellent experience and highly recommend.

Well it was nice but it's more for drink lovers like they have 19 pages of drinks choices wine and other drinks
But the food was all together 1 paper only!

Great food simply and well presented. Outstanding service. Will be back when visiting the Peninsula again.

Been awhile since we last visited Sorrento and this was our fav place to stop by for lunch. Didn’t disappoint. Delicious food that was made with passion and creativity.
The lady that served us several years ago was also the same lady that served us and we had a good laugh and chat over it.
Hope to visit again soon. Keep creating great dishes team

Love this restaurant, it's a peninsula favorite. I've been countless times over the years and its consistently excellent; from the food to the drinks to the staff to the stylish yet unpretentious interiors.

The lady looking after us was fantastic and knew local wines so well. Food was gorgeous, best in Sorrento by far. Been looking for a good spot in Sorrento and think we've found it!

A lovely place for lunch! The wait staff were very pleasant, and took care of our two Great Danes who joined us. We’ll be back!

Staff very professional and friendly. Excellent cooking. Chef always proposed a different meal with originality and a lot of flavours. The presentation of the plates always beautiful. Congratulations to all of you and a special wink to the Chef. Bravo!

Booked a random lunch on the ferry and really really lucked out.
The decor, the service, the fresh farm to plate menu, my partner and I often daydream about when we will share another meal there.
Great wine list, and our waiter had great knowledge to recommend pairings for the meals. My partner had whole lobster Thermidor, fresh shucked to order oysters and we shared a poached peach dessert. I’m currently pregnant so enjoyed trying the seed lip non alcoholic gin options. I ate the zucchini flower special starter and the Barra main special. Both where incredible - especially the fish, I had to ask if it was cooked on hibachi the char flavour was unbelievable.

Have read a few other reviews commenting on the prices being to high - In my opinion these diners would have been better off going to a local pub because they probably aren’t in the right venue.

It's a nice restaurant with attentive staff.we had the oysters - which were not that fresh and hard to get off the shell, the Aubergine which was tasty, and also the trout, which was nice but I didn't expect it to be a cold dish.

Was hoping for a nice experience but the food was a let down! My medium well eye fillet was way overdone and dry, the duck had a strange sauce.zucchini flower starter was overfilled and not prepared well. There is no children’s menu and the waitress seemed disturbed and unfriendly. Don’t know how they get away with charging what they do.

The entrees weren't that great but were okay
The main serving of duck was really nice.
The side serving of baked potatoes were really good. I'd never had baked potatoes done like that before
My partner had the steak which would have been really tasty except it was served totally cold.
I won't be going back.

How this is a 4.3 is beyond me.deserves to be much higher We had such a beautiful time at Bisto Elba! The food is so so tasty, the decor is beautiful and the staff are amazing. Everything was perfect. We will be back!

I am very grateful to the team at Elba Bistro for a wonderful 34th birthday dinner menu.
I was excited when I found out they were open during lockdown.
The meal was delicious, I highly recommend getting their Oysters and Seafood Pie if still on the menu.
Why not complete the deal with a Tiramasu! I know I did. Thank you Chef!

We had a beautiful lunch here. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. The only uncomfortable thing was that inside was a bit cold. We will be back again. Thank you.

I had dinner here with my partner on a Tuesday night. We are both from Melbourne and have dined here a few times. We had the steak, broccoli & roast potatoes along with a bottle Shiraz. The food was exceptional! The steak was cooked to perfection and the side dishes were full of flavor. The service was flawless and inviting. Thank you Bistro Elba, for providing exceptional attention to detail along with freshly cooked produce, yet so simple but tasty. A favorite for us & I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Sorrento.
