Biryani House reviews
75 Very bad service, 1/2 container for the full price. 3 naan delivered out of six. Super oily, 4 chicken pcs and 1/2 of the container for $16. Half baked naan as in the picture. I have to drove all the way to question why is it so? The reply was this is our standard quantity. Requested to speak to the owner. The owner lady was apologetic and reordered to make up the order. Maybe this is the last time.
Pros: The lady was good and understanding and sincerely tried her best to make up the mistake but sorry not again this was the 3rd and the last chance.
Tried so many places for Biryani, this is the best! I also loved their butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, naan bread, chili chicken abd few other things. No place can beat their Biryani
Worst experience ever. Ordered food over the phone and gave details, they said will be ready in 40 minutes and when i went there to pickup they said its not in stock. Will take time to make
Best Hyderabadi biryan in the west. I am not a fan of their Currys that I tried but definitely a fan of their biryani. Highly recommend.
The biryani was from long time (not fresh) heated the chicken and rice separately you could see the difference chicken was too hot but rice was colder
All waste
Extremely poor taste. I ordered lamb biryani & chicken 65 and they were below par. People looking for Hyderabadi taste, go try out Deccan Dinein in footscray. Thank me later!
Pathetic customer r service. Ordered veg biryani and it was super spicy. Can’t eat after 1 spoon. Totally waste of money. Called the restaurant next day as my order was delivered after 10pm and restaurant closing time is 10. When I called next day the girl asked me to call the same day. Hey girl! Whom to call? The walls or what!
No proper apology, the answer I got after complaint was OK and sorry!
I was not upset with spicy biryani they gave but with the worst customer response by the girl and discussion she had with her MANAGER.
Got some takeaway and not value for money and both curries got full of colouring rather flavour. Will not recommend this place to anyone
We tried chicken biryani and kadai chicken we did not like any of them there was too much oil in kadai chicken and very bad flavour. Chicken biryani was also flavourless. Totally disappointed.
First time ordered worst food ever.had to throw it in bin as is after one bite. I even called up and requested for my money back whilst the lady at the reception was laughing and didn’t take my feedback seriously.highly annoying will never recommend to anyone and order from here any more.absolutely bad biryani and paneer tikka
My go to biryani place is Biryani house. Have been a regular when i was in the city. Now after moving to Tarneit, knowing there is a Biryani house 10 min drive away just made my suburb move that much more satisfying.
Worst haleem I ever had in my life terrible smell no taste all I taste is pepper and no meat and I can see fat waste of space in my tummy
I got dum biryani as a take away last night for first time. Was very disappointed. Dum Flavour was missing, looks like was made very hastly without providing proper time for dum. The rice quality was also not good. The service was fast and good.
If i could i give not even one star. Benchod dinner ki waat laga di. Custober service also rediculous. Not recomended to go.
The worst food i ever had in Melbourne. Ordered
1. Chili chicken: - dark black colored chicken in a very small container with couple of onions and capsicum.
2. Malai chicken: - bit ok.
3. Chicken Biryani: - worst in Melbourne not sure how people are liking may be their taste buds are dead.
Will be opting to sleep with hunger but definitely no way i’ll be ordering from here.
We went there for lunch.tasteless food, unresponsive staff and unclean kitchen and toilet was what we found.a big No No.
Highly unprofessional
Received my order like 40 mins late and the excuse was, we were busy doing something in restaurant
I ordered Gobhi65 and Naan
Gobhi was uncooked no flavour and was of dark orangish color (weird)
And roti was like papadums
I called to complain about the food the female staff was like we sell this item everyday and nobody had complained so I am not sure why you are complaining
She was rude and she didnt bother to say sorry and she was like you can ask for refund from uber eats we cant do anything about it
Never order Gobhi 65 from dere its worst
Good food. Customer service could be better. Never get asked about how the food was never get thanked upon payment.
I've been to the Biryani house at Hopper's Crossing with my husband heaps of times. The food is authentic Hyderabadi cuisine and of extremely high quality. It's our go-to restaurant of choice for all occasions!
Biryani is good but little overpriced for a single serving. They need to ad more flavours of biryani on their menu. Serving size of bbq items are bit too less for the price. We the family with 2 kids end up paying $40+ on each visit which is a bit too much for a biryani place. Sweets are not too fancy too. I've rated them 4 star only because of their Hyderabad biryani which is great everytime
