Biryani House reviews
73This is the worst place I have ever been. Worst food as well as worst customer service. I will never recommend even my enemies.
No taste of biryani customer service was worst then food shout at the customer to pickup the biryani from the counter customer service was shitttt
Very good exquisite food served here. Good Hyderabadi food served here. Excellent customer service. Situated at the heart of Melbourne completely surrounded by top notch buildings and business enterprises. Easily accessible for travellers from different parts of the city.
Probably the worse biryani I've had in Melbourne. The biryani they serve is basically rice with turmeric and a piece of chicken that I'm fairly certain was just boiled chicken. You can get a far better biryani at Dosa Hut or Delhi Rocks. The chicken 65 was also terrible.
Would not recommend this restaurant.
Worst food ever, worst packing, old food heated and given, extremely spicy, naans were sticking to the packet, eating naan were like chewing gum, photos attached below
I have been to this place many time. But today I was very disappointed by the service given as whatever I asked for was unavailable, this was conveyed by mr najam. Who gave a silly excuse for not having time to prepare the dishes. I doubt I will place order again if I see him at the front counter.
Dear biryani hyderabadi biryani lovers, kindly don't get gouged by visiting this place. Owner is only hyderabadi, but rest all menu is not. The worst ever biryani I had in my life. And I'm very sad for people who love this biryani. And guy who serves from inside is not at all clean. Not maintaining health and safety measures. And joker zakir (owner), he tries to sale with his cheap autowala techniques which is really sad. Don't waste your money and mood.
It took 30 minutes to serve 2 cold Biryani and the service was awful. Worst customer service and will never use this place again.
If you need a cheap, tasty meal, great value here. We've ordered here a few times and mostly food is excellent. Shop is cramped and atmosphere is lacking but for take-away is a great choice. One occasion out lamb curry was too salty, but that's the only negative.
We had a crawly cockroach in rice. Everyone stopped eating after that. We were a group of 8. Please check hygiene
Scammer Alert! Worst Biryani Ever. We ordered 2 Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani for takeaway and it was so shocking to see that it was just watery yellow rice with boiled chicken. There was no spices or any flavour to it. I think they cooked the biryani in 15 minutes wait time. Avoid this place at all cost. Scammer Alert!
They take at least 15 minutes to make a single Naan bread! They could be faster when it comes to service. Absolutely no urgency
It was my first time experience and I was really disappointed by the food they served. I ordered chicken tikka masala and there was no taste to it, Chicken Biryani was also bland and not fresh.
Using hyderabad name to sell their mixed chiken rice it's not the biryani of Hyderabad.waste of money n time
Worst food with only artificial colour with ridiculous spices. We order two DHAAL KHARI and left the food due to some the worst taste I ever tried in my life.
I extremely astonish to see number of people coming to this place, I never try this place ever again.
For all those who are planning to have a chicken biriyani be ready to taste plain coloured rice! Worst experience ever! Probably the worst biriyani ever had in melbourne!
i would never again step in here and would suggest everyone to find an alternative.
11.5$ for flavoured semi cooked wet rice, its ultimate waste of money!
It was alright nothing too fancy, long waiting time and ordered hyderabadi dum biryani which was ok.
Dined in and ordered to go from this place numerous times. Food is tasty more often than not, but service needs to be improved by leaps and bounds.
Dirt cheap and quick but the Hyderabad biriyani for itself is a poor sell. Lacks the typical aroma and punch you’dlook for in a Hyderabadi biriyani. At more or less the same price point, I’d anyday prefer the Dosa Corner store, two blocks down the same king st (5 mins walk from this store) which has a lot more to offer in its biryanis - several varieties of it too other than just chicken and lamb that this store offers. I’ve come to this store for the first time and is surely the last. Not that’s it’s a bad place. It’s actually clean and efficient. But as a hard core biryani connoisseur, I think this place just doesn’t do any justice to it’s biryanis!
