Biryani House reviews
73I strongly don’t recommend this place. Their quantity of food is very less for what we pay & the way their front staff responding is very rude. Worst place for Indian food in Melbourne!
The rice was overcooked felt like eating a pudding and the meat was undercooked felt like chewing a rubber. The yoghurt (Raita) was too thin like 10ml of yoghurt and 100ml of water.
Chicken biryani is good. But I have one star because of the spice that that using for biryani. It’s too spicy man. How can other culture people would like it?
Today I bought gobi65 and chicken briyani.
Chicken is a big mass piece with massive bone they didn’t bother breaking it into small pieces.
Gobi65 is there in another container without any rice in it.
First time experience could not go more wrong than this!
Food is very tasty and quantity is also very gud compared to other hydrabadi restaurants in Melbourne.but, it is also very spicy and this u can feel next morning.
Ordered family goat biryani takeaway and chicken 65. Very bland. Would not recommend. The biryani had no flavour at all and would be one of the worst I’ve tried. The chicken 65 was even worse, it was just extremely dried chicken tikka with chilli powder. Would give 0 if possible
This place is only and only good for biryani; if you order ANYTHING ELSE, get ready to jump in a pool of red chillies and nothing else. They shouldn’t have extended their menu beyond biryani, it’s only bringing bad reviews and angry customers. Still time to rethink and stick to what you do better.
Their chicken biryani is always good. Tried the tandoori chicken today. Also good:) Keep the quality please.
Horrible haleem!
Somehow the haleem is mixed with rice - im saying majority of the haleem is rice. We had it in a different biryani house and it was amazing but the one in city is an utter disappointment, and to add to this, they dont answer their phone.
My favourite go to place for good hydrebadi briyani and kebabs. Good vale for money and awesome taste. A must try.
The Chicken dum biryani was delicious. The chicken 65 dry fry was good too.
The only draw back is the place it self. It's dirty and not very organized.
Doesn't suit the Melbourne CBD.
Standards are kinda low at this place but the food is alright. That's why 3 stars.
I’ve been ordering the biryani via Menulog and it’s delicious! It’s cheap and student friendly. It’s good enough for two meals too.
Hyderabadi chicken biriyani available here is authentic and tasty. Can say this is the best place in Melbourne having good dum biriyani. Kebabs are also tasty and delicious. At a time 10-12 people can eat. The dining area is not spacious but the taste of the food attract more people to here.
Worst place for a Biryani.the rice and meat wasn’t fresh and they served uncooked biryani. I made a mistake of not choosing Moghals Biryani which is just 10 mts away.
This is place is not recommended at all.
Canned uncooked tomato puree with floating onions and paneer as the menu should state.
This is kadai paneer. Truly a worst nightmare for vegetarians.
I would leave zero stars if I could. This is worst food i ever tried and you should not call yourself a Indian restaurant. This business is definitely not match with your skills. I recommend be hungry instead of try this
We ordered the everyday Hyderabadi meal that came with 1 drink, in my opinion they should give 2 cans of drinks because it's a meal for 2 people, however the meal also consisted of chicken 65 along with the 2 biryanis which is great value for the money but the chicken 65 was not fresh and at all tasty, and was a big let down, however though the biryanis tasted really good which is why I've given 3 stars as my rating for this restaurant.
Worst Indian food I had in a long time. Rice was undercooked, chicken tikka masala had a strange after-taste and the naan breads were paper-thin.
As regular customers, we have been served leftovers from the previous days which is quite unethical let alone illegal. This practice needs to stop. Customer service is extremely poor with staff just standing there minding their own business in their imaginary worlds! I hope they can improve their services and treat their customers with respect and dignity
