BIG W Fountain Gate

Waited over a day for them to move a little heater from the store room to the counter. When they did it was over an hour wait to hand it to me. Hopeless. Will never TRY TO shop here again.

I understand the challenges lockdown present but after 6 you would think Big W fountain gate would have worked them out. If you know you can't fufill same day click and collect as advertised on the website then update the thing or provide an alert at checkout. Would have chosen to pay for same day delivery if I had known. All staff disinterested and just said call customer service as if they had heard it all day.

Decent store not enough maternity wear though but the reason for my 5 star rating is because I was served by a deaf woman which I can imagine is very hard since we have to wear masks and she can not lip read with face coverings. As I approached the check out she seemed to look at me strange but I quickly worked out she was deaf and I was soooo happy to see someone with a disability on the checkout she also was so lovely and signed thankyou to me as I left. I just wanted to give her a big hug because she did not say a word but managed to communicate while wearing face mask and without talking.

Love this particular Big W as for starters it's local to where I am located and it's also a very well organised store with lots of stock in store and many good sales most times. The staff here are helpful and friendly. Store itself is well lit and is clean. Definitely recommended as the customer service here is fantastic.

Big w has a good range of under garments then some stores I regularly go to. I wish they had the cheap brand workout leggings with pockets, only Michelle Bridges do and it's a little much for me to buy.

Friendly and courteous customer service upon entry. Customer service helped me with my enquiries and directed me towards the area that I was seeking. Very open with nice sized isle ways to move around. A great variety of merchandise to choose from. A great layout and ample registers, either self serve or attend by a friendly and courteous staff member. I like shopping here, not really! I tend to buy a lot more, as there a great of products available at cheap prices

Got the last copy of a game available in Victoria.
Was told it wasn't there but the tech guy found it. Good work

Not as good as it used to be, where are all the fun Disney pjs and shirts for adults as well as children, even the fashion is not great

I like this place, usually has a good range of everything at good prices.

Only downside is registers aren't always open and I refuse to use self checkout.
So have left stuff and walked out on a few occasions

Helpful staff go out of there way to help you and don't judge you when you do silly things at the check out like putting your item on the wrong side of the check out then you have to get some one to help u

Absolutely pathetic a friend and I shopped there for Easter eggs and spent alot of money while we were shopping we were followed by at least 10 security staff it was the most bizarre shopping experience I've ever had

I like to pop in to Big W and have a look around. Sometimes they seem to be a bit low on stock.
A good store and staff are friendly.

When I went the baby section was completely empty with no staff around. Metal (sharp) shelving was laying around where children could hurt them selves and alot of pricing was missing. The lady at check out didn't take the security tag off some items it was the security guard outside that asked me to check my bonds purchases. 2 stars is for the lovely security guard that saved me a trip back.

Amazing service from a team that wouldn't give up. My daughter and I visited your store last week. She was after a particular book that was showing in stock. We couldn't find it anywhere in the book department. I asked for assistance and he couldn't find it either. He asked for assistance from another staff member, who also couldn't find the book. Ended up taking half an hour and 4 staff members to find the book. It was in their despatch, still on a pallet.i wish I got all their names, as they all went above and beyond to find the book. Well done Big W Fountain Gate.

I was very disappointed today. I went to buy 15 humpty dumptys today. It stated on the sign small & large sign $5 each on special. I realised at the cashier that I was charged $7 each. When i questioned the amount the cashier said it was correct. I questioned the sign $5. I was informed it was incorrect. I could pay $5 for the first one then i would have to pay full price. What makes it better on line it states it's on special for $5 at Big W. What makes this worse. Online they are on special

Normal Big W Store, disappointed that they were low on alot of sizes and all my size, being Saturday would have thought there stock levels should have been more.

I shopped at Big W fountain gate today and the staff are very friendly and especially Christine she is a beautiful lady and very very helpful and makes your shopping very worthwhile. Thank you Christine for all your help your very experienced to say.

Over all, what can I say, it's a BigW. Not really any better or worse than any other.

However, I have been in the area for more than a decade, and coming here just as long, and there are many faces I see here still after all this time, so their is a good amount of knowledge here to be able to quickly help you with any queries, and I have found them to be a very friendly bunch.
