Love their products and I also love to support small businesses but I feel the need to write this review and hope they take on this feedback. The staff in the store are unfriendly and hardly acknowledge you. It feels as though it’s a hassle for them to serve you or help you. They are quite snobby and seem to only serve or help particular customers. Really disappointing as I love their eco products and have been buying smoothies & juices from them for over a year, but the other day I tried to go in to purchase a juice and my pram did not fit through the doorway. I had to awkwardly try and open up a second door to fit through and not one staff member stopped to help despite seeing what I was doing, it was as if I was an inconvenience. I will no longer be spending my money there.

Authentic family owned organic store with a great selection of GF products. Highly recommended.

Such a shame, its a cute place & decent coffee but would have to be the worst customer service experienced on multiple visits

Love this place, all the things you need and want in one place, staff are kind and welcoming, 100% worth the visit.
For those that are patience, the drinks are worth the wait when it get busy.

Open until 4pm. Tried to get a coffee at 3.30pm and was told they were closed. If you're open til 4pm, serve coffee til 4pm. Very poor. Won't be back.

They call themself Beyond organic and sell regular milk. Dont even have organic milk and got offered almond milk instead. The explanation was because they use the sungold milk for there coffees. There are much better stores in Melbourne which use organic milk for there coffees too

I love this place. The food is amazing. Try the porridge, I drool thinking about it. I don’t know why this place only has 3.5 stars… I’ve checked the bad reviews and they complain about staff being rude. Not my experience at all. Shout out to Bridget for being so friendly:)

I work in customer service and have never felt the need to write a negative review, but based on other reviews there is a reoffending cashier that seems to be rude to customers.

A few months ago, when masks were being removed from cafes/indoor spaces, I went to get a coffee from Wholefoods.

I came in without mask presuming there were no mask mandates and no customers were wearing one that I could see.

After waiting behind a lady (who was maskless), I ordered. The older lady at the counter asked if I could put a mask on and I apologised and explained that I thought masks were no longer required for this store because no one else was wearing them/ thought the requirements had changed and said I would go home and grab one as I didn't have one on me.

The cashier was so incredibly rude and snarky after I apologised and went to leave, exclaiming that just because other customers don't wear one does not mean that I can. I said sorry again and went to leave but she gave me a mask and essentially barked at me to order my coffee, so I went to order my large coffee. She asked me why I was ordering a large coffee and if I actually wanted it because it was a large. In my panicked state I changed my order to a medium and apologised (I was bewildered and overwhelmed at this point). I was so confused as to why I was questioned on my order.and I am still confused.

When I was waiting outside for my coffee, I noticed that she was serving other customers and not acknowledging or asking them to put a mask on.

Since that point I would still come occasionally to grab some groceries or a smoothie (masked up) but every time I have come this particular lady stares at me and greases me off.

I was originally giving this lady the benefit of the doubt because I understand it can be frustrating, but I have never spoken to a customer like this (even when they have forgotten a mask) or been spoken too like this. Plus, to be continually stared at threateningly ever since is just bizarre and makes me incredibly uncomfortable.

Small store good range of products. Fresh fruit and vegetables, snack foods, spices, toiletries, soft drinks, bottled drinks & dried fruit.
Also has ready to eat snacks & energy balls at the counter.
Option to buy in beans & staples in bulk / refill existing containers.

I purchased a bottled drink & some dried mango to consume on a bike ride. Drink was beautifully chilled & mango wasn't overly dry. Would pop by again if in the area.

As I was buying food from the back kitchen I noticed that the kitchen workers were handling fresh food with no gloves on.
When I asked why I received a mouthful of abuse from the male kitchen worker. Horrible people I am never going there again.

I thought the service was lovely. Had some soup out the back and it tasted so healthy and delicious. So nice to be able to eat something out that tastes home cooked. So much love in this food.

- the wraps and juice down back are great

- coffee is pretty good

- the older lady at the front should probably not be the face of the business. If you’re going to be rude to your customers, maybe work out back.

- a little awkward when the 2 dudes who work there get into an argument on the floor

- in short, food good, service average

To be fair, I wish I could give this a zero star review.
I visited this store for the first time today with the intention of buying two coffees. I entered with my friendly and calm staffy who was on leash and proceeded to wait to place my order as there were approx 3 people waiting for the cashier.
The cashier was not bothered in the least about anyone waiting as she had a leisurely chat with the customer at the counter for 10 minutes.
She finally noticed me and rather than greeting me or using any kind of manners, she barked at me to “get the dog outside”. At this point I was fairly agitated and responded
“How do I order a coffee because I’ve been waiting 10-15 minutes? ”

The saving grace was the barista who apologised and took my order while I waited outside with my dog.
Another customer approached me stating that it is a common occurrence at the store to have poor customer service but I was in shock that I had just been barked at with no greeting or anything.
This same cashier then started talking about me and my dog obviously forgetting that I was still waiting for my coffee.

I’m a hospo worker myself and hate leaving bad reviews but this was honestly so shocking and I’ve never experienced anything like it before. A shame because they could have had a new regular as I live around the corner but instead I’ll be telling people to avoid them. It is not hard to have polite customer service especially in times like these.

Shopped here for over a year and can count on one hand the number of times I’ve left in a good mood. The product and selection are excellent but the staff I’ve found to be more often than not distracted, busy chatting and on occasion even rude bordering on arrogant. I often feel like an interruption to their day, which doesn’t make this a pleasant space to be. As another business owner this is hard to write as I wish no one ill will in this environment, but I only shop here when there are no other options. This is a shame, as good service costs nothing and this business would be a delight to deal with if that one variable were to be addressed.

Just had one of their Cherry muffins. Sooooo delicious. Freshly backed this morning. Great flavour and texture.

I am not coming back here again. The people at the front desk have no understanding of customer service. I have given them a few opportunities to see whether someone was having a bad day, but it is systematic. Last week I went to buy a few items and i could not believe how long i was left waiting to pay, while the staff was having a chat with a friend.never mind i was there with my four year old son. It feels like they are doing customers a favour by serving us. Please take your business elsewhere, these people dont deserve your money!

The cook was so rude.
He wanted to charge extra for mushrooms but not take any money off for excluding the bacon from a made-to-order wrap.
The food is expensive as it is for a hospo worker/student. I want to support local and buy healthy but ffs, at least if you are going to remove one ingredient for another, make it the same price!
The other staff are lovely, however. And the coffee delicious.
The wrap was too spicy (didn’t ask for chili).
Won’t be back for the cafe food that’s for sure

This place has the worst staff. They make you feel so uncomfortable and get my coffee order wrong every time i go there. Beyond organic? More like beyond uncomfortable experience. DONT go here

Whilst the store has a great range of products and the food is delicious, I've never felt more uncomfortable with how rude and uninterested the staff are. Specifically, the ones at the front, the kitchen staff are lovely!

In the many times I've been, I've always felt like I'm annoying them by simply just being there. No manners what so ever. Unfortunately with the many chances I've given them, I will never be returning.
