Stood at counter for ages waiting to be served while staff member was on her phone and didn’t notice me Not a traditional butcher and more of a deli so I wasn’t able to get exactly what I wanted. Quality was great and so were the steaks I bought though.

Service was good, but $13.99 for a small pie with a bland, unseasoned taste, that falls apart when you handle it is taking the mickey.never again.

Berties does a terrific job with its entire range. Rowan and the team are always helpful and the quality is obvious from the appearance and taste of the offerings. Recently we’ve had beef cheeks, chicken breasts, French cutlets, their Heston burgers, sirloin steaks and sausages too! We have permanently changed butcher having spent years with another quality one in the area, but Bertie’s is more consistent and higher in quality.

The staff here was very friendly and helped me find the perfect chicken for my roast. They even went as far as to marinade it for me based on my dietary restrictions. Turned out awesome, thanks guys!

Hygiene in this place is a joke. Ordered a wrap for lunch and the guy was talking on the phone with his bear hands then when I ordered used same dirty hands to manually pick up the wrap and serve it to me.

We normally come here for lunch and there's a small section for salad and wraps in the front. We almost missed it had we not been staring intently through the window. I normally get the tandoori wrap, the bread is so nice, there's a good balance of flavours as the sauce isn't overwhelming. Price is pretty decent for the area as well.

The person who works there knew my regular order just after two times of being there. She has a very good memory and she's super friendly also.

Very lovely experience

Just cooked up the burgers for my kids. Sensational. I could taste the difference, no packet additives, pure beef. The kids loved them. Thanks guys.

The meat is quality and the staff very friendly. Always willing to give suggestions and advice. Also do really good lamb rossi and sausage rolls along with the lunch selection. Definitely recommend.

Excellent meat with a knowledgeable staff. Almost a small providore actually, with all the extras available to enhance your meat preparation and cooking experience. And they take orders. (I'm definitely thinking of ordering my Xmas smoked ham from Bertie this year.)

Amazing pies and meat, there is also a little known cafe/restaurant out the back which does lunch.

Great butcher! Always friendly service, the eye fillet is lovely & organic, not only that it's consistently good. Definitely one of the better well priced butchers in Richmond.

Another dodgy butcher. No receipt for cash purchases. People are not served in order but through some system of preference. I would not go back don't waste your time.
