60Recently visited Berth Restaurant, it has a great atmosphere and location. Plenty of options on the menu. The burger and fish were both great!
Great atmosphere and delicious food.
Mushroom gnocchi possibly the best in Melbourne. Give these guys a Michelin star already. Absolutely divine.
Great atmosphere and location. Book ahead and secure a nice river view table. Plenty of options, however not very diverse for vegetarian. Can recommend the eye fillet with mash - very tender and large portion meat and mash is buttery and silky to perfection.
Had my Birthday dinner with my girl friends. Awesome food beautiful place to sit and enjoy delicious food great service and staff. Thanks Berth.
The view is marvellous and the food is good too. Perfect for a date, especially the seating outside makes for a beautiful background.
The location is great with nice view. The place is usually busy. The food is great especially the steaks. The desserts are great especially the sticky date cake. The white chocolate burlee was fine. The coffee though needs improvement. Highly recommended.
Excellent meals and great views of the harbour but prices are really quite expensive for even the simplest meals.
Had a staff function at the venue and there was just not enough space. We were. Ramped in to the table and the mezzo platter was laughable.
We were given 2 bits of bread and 2 bread sticks between 6 people.
On top of that, I ordered a medium rare steak which was medium well done.
Other than that, the food tasted nice, the view was good and the service was okay.
Although the food I got was nice and the view was great, I was really disappointed in their vegetarian options. Only one main vegetarian option and zero vegan options. Wouldn't go back.
Had a company function here. Service, food, ambience amazing. Great venue and good to work with in planning an event.
As soon as you walk in you just get a great feeling that this place is special! With fantastic view off the water in Docklands! The food was fantastic I had the oyster do recommend! Fresh as can be with a wonderful cocktail source to go with it. Mains was the seafood marinara witch was also delightful. Services was spot on as soon as you get seated water right away. Definitely will be back thank you Beth for a wonderful day!
Great dinning experience for warmly and careful service.they not only provide best food but also give us warmly service. To strong recommend as friend event and wedding activity.and also parking for photo indicated place for cost saving.
This place has a fascinating view and presents a lot of dishes, drinks, desserts and coffee.
Staff are welcoming and smile all times.
The food was amazing and the staff were wonderful. The venue is beautiful with great views. I ordered the chicken risotto and it was the best risotto I have had. Just a wonderful dinner and of course wonderful company. Have been coming to Berth for almost 10 years and before they opened Cargo next door. If you're looking for a modern restaurant with food made from great fresh ingredients and a nice view of the water, then this is probably one of the best restaurants located in the Docklands area. Great for dates, birthdays, celebrations and so forth. Good range of dishes should appeal to everyone.
We had a day-long meeting with 16 people, and this was a great venue. The food and coffee was delicious, and the space has a great view across the harbour. I would certainly like to go back again if the opportunity arises.
Five stars for the location and ambience! Less stars for the senior staff. Staff need to be more polite and welcoming. The food is delicious but the hot drinks are usually prepared in a messy fashion. I've visited the place atleast 7 times over the last 5 years and I only visit for the location despite the staff disappointing us every single time. Berth staff could learn a lesson or two on courtesy from CARGO located right next to them.
My omelet was flat and a bit rubbery. Baguette scarce and dry. For the price, not good value at all. The service was excellent, coffee good. My partners risotto was a big disappointment. Was almost like, pre prepared ingredients.
Situated in Docklands, that from my experience so far is never busy, right on the water it is a beautiful place to sit and relax with good food and excellent service. Our waiter was fantastic from the moment we walked in, very informative always there to take an order or refill our glasses at just the right time. The food was amazing, although we didn’t over indulge in many courses it certainly wasn’t due to the lack of choice. I plan on returning in the nicer weather to sit outside on the deck and just watch the world go by with a bottle of wine and great food.
The contents of the seafood platter were old. The prawns were still half frozen. I was off work all week with gastro. Do not recommend.
I ordered takeaway for myself & my 3 children. Chicken nuggets were a snitzel cut up into strips, they were cold & all put into the same container. As well as the chips all in the one bag, all cold. My croquets were all cold, mushy & horrible. Very disappointed! For the price I paid I was mortified. Ended up having to go & purchase dinner elsewhere. It was purchased at 5: 30pm, no one else was in there at the time we ordered so it wasn’t busy. I think a bit more pride should be taken into your takeaway meals as I have eaten in before & it was beautiful!
