Berth

Berth was one of the only restaurants open on new years day so whilst we didn't have much of a choice, we were pleasantly surprised with the service and quality of the restaurant. They were quite busy but still managed to sit 8 of us at short notice. After telling us that dinner would be delayed, they still provided a prompt service with excellent meals. Dining along the pier made for a great atmosphere. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is for the few people smoking in the outside area.

Order placed via phone. I understand its a sign of the times, and im a bit old school, but its a little annoying when all you are looking for is another glass of wine. Food was fine but asking for a tip at the end of each order is a little steep!

I had a great experience at Berth with my boyfriend. The food and the service was spot on. Can't wait to be back after this lockdown! Thank you Berth!

A good choice of sharing plates which were well presented and tasty. Wines not overly priced. We sat outside on a grey winter's day but thoroughly enjoyed the views over the Yarra.

Me and my husband love everything about the restaurant. Food is supertasty and staff is very friendly and sweet.highly recommended

Gr8 venue celebrated for a 50th birthday party. Staff v attentive & courteous so just enuf mix of food & drinks all around.
Birthday girl was still dancing when I left so fun had by all - young & old.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Berth. Lovely, friendly staff and the food was delicious. We'll definitely go back again.

Dined in here for my friends birthday, overall a good place with great staff. I’ve ordered Steak Sanga with chips on the side and the Strawberry mock-tail; the Sanga was very tasty and filling, the drink was delicious I ordered a refill, however the chips weren’t served warm, they were almost room temperature. Based on my personal plate, I would rate it 4/5.

However, we’ve had a few issues with our orders as a table:
- We ordered two large chips as entree and specifically mentioned it was entree, but they were served with the mains.
- My friend ordered medium rare, but the meat was clearly medium well, so we had to request that to be changed. The waiter handled the situation well, however a chef should know the basics of cooking meat and there shouldn’t be the need to send back food for this reason.

Will come again and I do recommend it, but maybe the staff needs a bit more clarification and communication when it comes to taking and serving orders.

The venue is nice, the staff are friendly and attentive.

However;

I ordered a Porterhouse Steak with chips, a pepper sauce, and "farm leaves". I ordered it medium-rare.

When it arrived, presentation was nice, but was obviously not medium-rare, from feel or look and I think the pepper sauce was more of an "idea" than a reality.

As it turns out, it was indeed dry and more like a medium steak than anything approaching rare, without any reasonable amount of pepper sauce to help alleviate the dryness of the meat. Chips were nothing to write home about, seem like standard frozen chips, deep fried, not restaurant made.

"Farm leaves", yeah, it was various lettuce leaf-type varieties, this was fine.

Knowing how to cook a steak should be a base-level Chef ability.

We are locals and think this is the best restaurant in Docklands. I'm usually dreaming about their dessert platter?

Good food+ amazing views & great cocktails! I call that a winner winner!

The food was amazing, service was impeccable and how can you not enjoy all these good food with a spectacular view!

I had wedding funtion here it was really great. The waitress name Angela? (sorry If I got it wrong) she was such a great help and not to mention the food. Everyone was so full a d happy and we really enjoyed dinner. The little problem was food came out bit late but other than that everything was great. I highly recommend this place and definitely visit for the future.

Berth Restaurant and Events is an incredible experience.

This waterside venue has an amazing panoramic view of the CBD, Marvel Stadium, Bolt Bridge, and beyond. Whether you are indoor or outdoors, you will have a memorable experience paired with quality and delicious modern food. Families are very welcome and well catered to, with a great selection of kid’s meals on offer. The battered fish was one of the best I had tried, and I just loved the mini meatball sub! The kids absolutely loved the food and location. They loved watching the boats pass by.

Barramundi Fillet – w kipfler potato, chargrilled zucchini & a lemon, fennel & caper butter.
Harissa Spiced Chicken – served on crushed potatoes, topped w a pomegranate herb salad & aioli.
Kid’s Battered Fish w chips.
Kid’s Mini Meatball Sub w chips.

The menu offers a great selection of classics, including a mix of casual dishes to something a bit fancier. The food and service are as exceptional as the view. Berth is conveniently located nearby Dockland attractions and is the perfect stop for lunch or dinner with the family. Furthermore, this is one place to shortlist for your next special event. We absolutely loved our experience and appreciate the invite.

Atmosphere was exceptionally well organised and views were terrific. Food was ok but substandard for the price and for the location. If the quality of taste was improved and also better portioned it would definitely gain many 5 star ratings. Even Children left hungry as portions were poor

Held my daughters birthday here and everything was amazing! The food, the service, the venue itself everything was perfect from start to finish. Special thank you to Vanessa + Taylor and the events team for making our occasion so memorable. Highly recommend this venue!

Went to Berth for lunch yesterday. I had the fish & chips, the batter around this fish was not cooked on the inside and the chips were limp and soggy.
My partner had the barramundi which was tiny (about 3 inches long), cetainly not worth the $32.00 she paid for it.the one star is for the location.

Really tasty and good quality food. The service is also fantastic. You do order online even while sitting at the restaurant. I guess technology is moving this way. The downside to this system is that you don't get a chance to ask questions to the waiter if they were taking your order. We ended up ordering extra chips because we didn't realise some of the meals game with chips as a side dish. Also beautiful water views and great vibes.
