Robert Liddell from the Artarmon store was extremely helpful and wasn't pushy at all. We managed to pick up some Scandi dining chairs and completely satisfied with our purchase and the service offered.

Robert (ART53773) from the Artarmon Showroom, over a number of Visits, provided expert advice on the choices from the Wide Range of Options in the Store. We went with the Nordic 60 Chair & Ottoman Base. Very High Quality Craftsmanship with an 'Australian Made' emphasise. Have already recommended the Business to my Colleagues.

Dirty marks like this cannot be wiped off and they claimed this is natural and refused for return or exchange. Not happy!

Our salesman was really great and helped us create a set of 8 dining chairs in a beautiful Zepal velour fabric. After a few months' wait, we were disappointed that all of our chairs had damage done to the velour during the chair-making process. This was mainly on the seats, coming from right to left. The chair maker must have scoured the material with some sort of tool during the making process. Berkowitz were initially very good, advising that the chairs would be replaced. But we found out that the maker was the weak link in the chain - they are called Sun and Sun. They didn't want t re-make the chairs because they didn't want to lose money. We spoke with Mr Berkowitz himself, who also didn't want to lose money on the sale, and asked us to pay for the chairs to be re-done, despite acknowledging the fabric damage. It wasn't reasonable for us to pay twice for the chairs. We asked if Mr Berkowitz could arrange for another chair maker in Melbourne to make the chairs, but he said that Sun and Sun were the only people they use. Berkowitz gave us a refund. The level of after sales service was poor. They even asked us to speak with Sun and Sun, who we found had a third world approach to customer service and Australian warranty rules. We shouldn't have been referred to Sun and Sun since Berkowitz sold us the chairs. It took 2 months after the chairs were delivered damaged for Berkowitz to switch from saying we will fix the chairs to we won't fix the chairs, but will give you a refund instead. They also downplayed the damage, despite the delivery man, and later, a Berkowitz assessor, who came over to see the chairs and advised that we can't sell you chairs that look like that. During the 2 months, we asked Berkowitz if we could have loan chairs while they were umming over our damaged chairs. They were kind enough to give us loan chairs, which meant that we had chairs over XMAS for our family gatherings. However, it was a shame that after a 6 month wait for our custom made chairs, we were obliged to go elsewhere to get chairs. We went to Berkowitz because they advertise that they are a family business. We weren't made to feel a part of the family.

Usually don't review but we were so impressed with the service we received when purchasing a Yoko table at the Essendon store and then pick up at the factory outlet later in the week. Before we collecting the table we realised we'd ordered the wrong size table and had to change. The process was smooth and with just enough communication to ensure everything went well. Definitely a good place to shop for furniture!

Bought a Weave rug 3x2 mtrs. 50% bamboo 25% wool 25% viscous. Very disappointed after 2 years showing signs of wear and dirty even after cleaning it. Should have bought a all wool rug.

Wanted to share a shopping experience both my husband and I had at Berkowitz DFO Essendon last weekend. Richard Villiva was the salesperson that assisted us with our search for a couch. He was not a pushy sales person, but offered awesome advice and was extremely responsive to our 'many' questions and doubts. Earlier this year we purchased two new leather recliners from Berkowitz Blackburn. One of the recliners recently developed a minor fault which we reported to the Store. The Staff responded with friendly and willing assistance and arranged for a Company Representative from IMG to call at our home to inspect the problem and carry out any needed repairs.
The follow-up was prompt and the Recliner has been fixed to our total satisfaction. Well done Berkowitz and IMG.

Very happy with the whole Berkowitz experience. Sales staff very knowledgeable and took me through the lift chair's key features - advice given was useful in helping me work out which one would best suit my needs.
When it came to finalising the order and arranging delivery, Merri made it a breeze! Could not fault - shout out to Billy the delivery man for his attentive and courteous service.

Very knowledgeable staff who went out of their way to understand what I was after. When testing furniture in other stores, many were similar in feel. I was very surprised by the Berkowitz furniture difference. There is a noticeable comfort and quality. Bought a sofa bed for the kids - it's actually comfortable to sleep on! Will upgrade lounge soon.

Excellent in-store experience. We had a very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable sales person. They knew their products, warranties, and provided accurate delivery estimates.

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very helpful and gave me lots of time to make decisions; not pushy at all. High quality furniture. If they sell the product you are looking for then buy it from them!
