Beretta's Langwarrin Hotel reviews
63The parmas here used to be delish. Nice thick chicken. What I got was more like soggy heart shaped schnitzel. Only saving grace was that the chips were nice and the kids love the play area.
Below average. Bland tasteless food sold to families that seldom if ever experience proper dining out.
Very nice atmosphere. Really good play area for the kids. Attentive staff. Reasonably priced food. Kids meals and Adult meals very filling and very tasty.
I have Coeliacs Disease and the staff were amazing with catering to my dietary needs. I had a wonderful meal and a great night. Excellent service, highly recommend.
Lamb dressed as mutton.
This place looks and feels like a regular pub. Outdoor drinking area, kids play area, couples retreat seating. But it functions like a regular pub. You must order yourself at a counter, then your drinks at the bar, no double shots, and expect to pay $25-35 for one meal. It is however cooked by chefs and not cooks and they have limited edition meals such as kangaroo or sword fish.
Not bad to take out the folks, have tappas from $9 and drinks outside in the summer, or enjoy a romantic relaxed night out. Great for locals and a joined bottleshop and pokies.
Understandably busy but had a bad experience with bar staff over requesting water as the self serve was empty, and was told with attitude they didn't have time to serve water.
Made an average first impression for me as I have never been before.
Food was OK.
Not the cheapest reasturant but great variety & portion sizes. Can get quite loud for dinner & weekends. Accomodating for families & parties. Love the little ‘adult’ corner which gives some privacy, dimmed lighting & a candle on the table.
Great place to meet up and have a really good meal. I have been going to the langy since I was about 18 and have watched it grow from a small little pub in the 80s to the great family place now. Service and staff have always been friendly and helpful. Great playground for the kids.
All round staff where not very helpful or even interested. The gaming attendant was far to busy having a personal chat to even worry about patrons even though we where right there in front of her, then got attitude when I was served
Nachos didn’t even have any cheese, that’s pretty average
Ps. I don’t write reviews ever but felt obliged to after this. If you don’t won’t to be nice don’t work hospitality
Beautiful food, reasonably priced, , good serving sizes without being too big. Deserts were just perfect as was the coffee. Cocktails were spot on. 10 of us with all different meals, each meal was delicious and beautifully presented and arrived pretty quickly. Kids loved the play ground, I loved the adults lounge. Great outdoor seating. This us a great pub.
Great for parents with kids, not if you want a quiet time. Too much focus on the best children's play area. Nobody supervises and even in the grown-up area you are bombarded by over-indulged and stimulated kids. I am tired of hearing the screaming.
FOOD POISONING I went there last Saturday with my wife and nephew and I made the mistake of ordering the Seafood board which included fish, prawns, scallops and an oyster. I ate one of the scallops and noticed it didn't feel right in my mouth so cut the other one open to find it was almost completely raw. Not sure how they managed to coat it with cooked batter. Anyway I went home went to bed and woke up about 1.30 am feeling very ill and soon after vomited the entire conents of my stomach. Worst food poisoning I've had I think. Rang Berrettas the next day to advise them and was told they would get a manager to call me back that was 5 days ago and haven't heard from them. I guess the managers have more important things than customers to worry about. I'll eat somewhere safe in future.
Rude female manager made a mistake while taking my father in law's order due to her impatience (there was no one else in line to be served). Charged him for three meals instead of two. Refused to refund once the food was brought to the table stating it was his fault. We didn't make a fuss, just asked her to pack it up for take home. Her rudeness ruined the day for us all. Otherwise food was great and the rest of the staff were great.
Carbonara was terrible and small tasted so much like onion it was unbareable, the bruschetta which was $9 was two pieces of bread with 2 tomato slices and a bit of meat very disappointed. Very unjustifiably overpriced.
We have had a few very nice meals here over the last couple of weeks. The service is wonderful. The only issue we have had is that it is a bit noisy.
As it goes for a pub meal it wasn't to bad. Lamb shanks were pretty good. Gets busy cause of the popular kids play are, which is a great size, so bookings are essential
Very nice meals but on the pricey side for a pub. Unbeatable new play area for the kids, so great place to come with kids.
Didn't get 5 stars as their dress code is crazy. If you turn up in any kind of gear that resembles tradie gear, the staff will turn you away like your some sort of scumbag.
Geat meals, is always busy ut the down fall is its sooo noisy. We could hardly hear the conversation we were trying to have
Staff were rude and told my son and friends that they are to old for play area. When questioned on the age limit which is not listed on their rule board the answer given was 15yo. Thankfully it was his 14th B'day and then the answer changed to, oh sorry he's too tall then. Again not listed on the rule board. I could understand it if they were been fools and disrupting younger children but they had barely sett foot into the room. Won't be going back here again.
Great food & good variety of options on menu plus always have different specials. Staff are friendly & service is always great. Food waiting time has never been longer than 20 minutes even on busy days eg. Mother's Day, Valentine's Day
