I should first say that the star rating I have given is for seniors. At full price I would score this as two stars. They have a seniors menu for $15 for a main course, the pick of which is chicken Aleisha with chips and/or veg, or lamb shank with loads of gravy, mash and peas. Yummy. On weekdays, and for everyone (not just seniors) is a $19 light lunch menu with a main course, plus a drink of your choice, being a schooner, a wine, or a soft drink. These change weekly, but are usually quite good. Last time I had a lamb salad and one time a roast beef and gravy roll with chips from that menu. During school holidays the vibe is local working families, outside of holidays the vibe is retirees who lunch. Recommended.

Huge friendly bistro
Booths available

Adults only area
Food to die for huge portions
A bit price but well worth it

Adults can enjoy some time together while the kids run around and play. Our daughter loves the playground.

Nice place. Though the food is not as good as the place looks and its service, its worth the time. Most importantly, the Kids will love it.

Been here twice in the last 2 weeks. Once for a kids party my Son was invited to and once for a lunch with Family and friends today.

These guys have taken Covid rules to the next level.

You get greeted at the door and asked to check in. No problem. You asked about a mask, I have a medical expemption. No problem. You get into the Bistro and you have to show them that you've checked in. You tell them you checked in with the people at the door and you are met with rudeness. You then show them to shut them up and you are asked about a mask again. You explain your situation re Medical exemption.

You then get pounced on every where you go.every time you get up from your table someone is there to remind you about your mask.

Today I spoke up and said that my experience last weekend was terrible and asked if I was going to be Harassed every time I stood up. I was told they were just doing their job.

I reminded them you can't even gain entry to the building without going through the checks and surely once a person has been asked a couple of times it can be assumed that they are adults and know what they are doing and what the regulations are.

The response was that the staff can and will continue to speak to anyone as often as they feel it necessary. I advised them I cannot guarantee that my replies would remain friendly. (Given I was approached 5 times in less then 20 mins last week)

This led to the Manager coming over and scolding me like I was a child.at the table in front of my friends and family.

It then became apparent that every member of the waiting staff all had headsets on and communicated like a security detail. Every where I went the Manager who from here on will be known as "Captain Fantastic" popped up and made his presence felt.and of course every time I went to the bar it was very easy to tell that the staff were watching and discussing my every move as much as they pretended not to be.

The service from the moment I spoke up was woeful and very unwelcoming.

In addition to this Captain Fantastic has a deputy with a badge that says "Covid Marshall" Who on face value was more like a skinny Brian Mannix Impersonator on a power trip. This little umm err man was enjoying his Covid Marshall Badge way too much.he was rude to customers and frequently marched them out the door to check in if they could not show him the tick on their phone.

If people didn't have masks on he was very quick to show them the door and his rudeness and disrespect for people was disgraceful.

We ordered chicken Parma's and for the record you cant have chips and salad unless you pay $4.50 Extra for the salad.

Pretty disappointing as the food was actually really good and it would have been a great day if it had not been for Captain Fantastic, Brian Mannix and the Pretend Secret Service Agents

I appreciate that everyone has to do their job and the covid restrictions are there for a reason but you need to deliver the information with some respect and some grace and not treat everyone like they crawled out from under a rock.

A businesses obligations end when they have advised their patrons what the regulations are and what they need to do. Once this is done if people don't, won't or are not in a position to comply then it is the patrons responsibility. It is not the pubs job to become a mini police force on a power trip.

You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.

Dinner last night. The staff member that attended us at the "Wait to be seated" desk asked for the booking name 3 times, repeated the name incorrectly and still couldn't find it! THUMBS DOWN! My MEAL of lamb shanks, though tasty, was LUKEWARM. THUMBS DOWN! My partner's MEAL of beef and lemongrass stir fry was BLAND and also LUKEWARM. THUMBS DOWN!
Not impressed.

Only good thing about this venue is the kids play ground.
The staff are amazingly rude, the food I wouldn't feed to my dying best mate, the pokies are nasty and the smokers out the front of the venue have no respect for parents trying to carry their new borns to the car.
Highly not recommended.

Great food good customer service, but the chefs in the kitchen are not wearing PPE just besides the jacks, they should be wearing hairnet, gloves. And it’s disgusting I don’t want my food until they put hairnet or gloves on.

I work at a bakery and I have to wear hair net gloves and everything. I think you chefs need to know this just please wear hairnet and gloves PPE plz

Thx

The seating is well laid out and comfortable, the staff were attentive and skilled at customer relations and the background music was great. There were TVs showing different sports and a tiktok channel. A good atmosphere. For lunch I bought a chilli beef with rice for $26 and it was filling and tasty. The main dining area was closed due to covid 19 but the main bar area was very comfortable and well suited to eating a meal. I'll go back again.

Good meal and service. BBQ Parma and chips were well cooked and the perfect amount of sauce. Drinks from the sports bar were well priced

A little disappointed. We had the rockling fish. Batter was extremely oily, so it wasn't that enjoyable. Its also disappointing they don't have a soup or roast of the day anymore. We were all seated really close to each other too. Made it hard to eat. Service to table a little lacking, clearing plates. More staff are clearly required.

Very expensive for very ordinary food. No service to speak of.
Order a BBQ platter. Mac n cheese that tasted plastic and had no real flavour. Coleslaw that makes woolworths look great. I guess the chips were okay. Portion size was on the small side considering the price.
Probably wouldn't go back.
Cool they have a kids playground, about the only selling point for this venue

Large dining area, can get extremely busy & very loud. Menu is great but pricey. Play room/area for children. Average gaming area. Not many machines to choose from and can get busy so chances of even getting to play a machine are slim. Lovely staff though. The sports bar would be what makes 'the Langy' a good place to go.

I'm not a local, but my mates took me for lunch here. I've got to commend the staff, the facilities and the food. I didn't get to explore everything, but they have space for families, kids area, couples (which I believe is no kids/families), and the outside area is great. Even has a walk up bar for just the outside. All those combinations, plus the general atmosphere, give this a good 5 star for me.

A very friendly greeting upon entry and an extremely helpful welcome at the bistro entry. An extensive range of tasty meals was served promptly and with a smile. We were very impressed by all of the staff working the evening that we celebrated a family birthday. Our own birthday cake was served by staff just as we had requested. I firmly believe that all staff at Beretta's enjoy working there and they want to make all of their customers happy. I am a genuine customer and not related to any one at the Langwarren hotel. Your best reference is a happy customer and our family all appreciated the outstanding staff and their friendly service. Five stars + highly recommended, i nearly forgot about the awesome kids playground. If you have nippers you will be happy.

Beretta's yes a family hotel but we went mid week thinking a quiet dinner for my nephews birthday it was like being at the footy it was so loud the tables are close together the food was a little average for a date night I'm sure there is better places around & somewhere better for the kids

This is great family friendly venue. We celebrated my son's 7th Birthday here and were very pleased with the food and overall service.
The highlight though is the play room which is massive. Also a special mention to the reception who informed me of the kids club during booking and that we world get benefits including a complimentary ice cream cake for the birthday boy among other things.
I order the American Platter (pictured) which was very decent!
